Naga Chaitanya’s Bezawada gets a release date

Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film Bezawada is all set to hit the screens on November 25.The film’s theatrical trailer was unveiled recently in Hyderabad and looks like the film has a high dose of violence and action. Naga Chaitanya and Amala Paul are playing lead roles in the film. The film is said to be based on real
events on rowdy wars in Vijayawada in 80s and 90s. Vivek Krishna has directed the film and Kiran Kumar and RGV have produced it. Most part of the film was shot in Vijayawada and it’s going to be the first time that Naga Chaitanya is going to sport a rugged look. The film’s audio is going to be launched on November 4.
 

Sekhar Kammula’s Life Is Beautiful joins Pongal race

Sekhar Kammula’s upcoming film, Life is Beautiful has become the latest film to join the Pongal race. After directing Leader, Sekhar Kammula took a long break and decided to make a film on youth’s aspirations and lifestyle. A talent hunt was conducted for the film and most of the actors are said to be newcomers.
The entire shooting part has been completed and Sekhar Kammula has kept his latest project away from the media glare.
Sekhar Kammula has created a niche for himself with films like Anand, Godavari, Happy Days and Leader. No wonder he has become a brand of his own especially with youth, families and overseas crowd in the past few years. More details about Life Is Beautiful are expected to be announced soon.
 

Anushka, Richa set to romance Prabhas in his next

Anushka and Richa Gangopadhyay have been signed up for Prabhas’ next film which will be directed by Koratala Siva. The film was launched recently in Hyderabad and the film’s shooting is expected to start soon. Vamshi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati are producing the film on UV Creations banner.
Prabhas and Anushka had earlier acted together in Billa and their combination was a big hit. Recently, Anushka was the original choice for Prabhas’ Rebel; however she walked out of the film. Now, once again Anushka has been cast opposite Prabhas. This film will be the first time Richa will be seen opposite Prabhas. Devi Sri Prasad is going to compose the music.

Shraddha Das signs YVS Chowdary’s Rey

Shraddha Das has signed YVS Chowdary’s upcoming film Rey. The shooting of the film had started long ago with Sai Dharam Tej and Shubra Aiyappa in lead roles. Initially Amruta Patki was supposed to play one of the two lead roles opposite Sai Dharam Tej; however, she has been replaced by Shraddha Das.
A visibly excited Shraddha Das tweeted about this latest development saying that she’s going to play a popstar’s role in the film and it’s also a full fledged role after a long time in her career. A photoshoot is being shot on Shraddha for the film. The film is going to be majorly shot in US and already the film unit had completed some portions in US. Few weeks ago, Sai Dharam Tej injured himself while performing a stunt scene for the film in US due to which the shooting was called till he recovers. YVS Chowdary is directing and producing the film. It’s being touted as a romantic musical and the film is going to hit the screens in summer, 2012.

Gopichand says Mogudu is a dream come true project

Actor Gopichand revealed that he has been waiting to work with Krishna Vamsi for 10 years. The actor who made his debut with “Tholi Valapu” admitted that he had only approached two directors for work. One he said was Krishna Vamsi and the second one was Teja. While Teja gave him “Jayam”, his desire to work with Krishna Vamsi had to be kept on hold for 10 long years.
Speaking about his experience Gopichand said, Krishna Vamsi was like an institution and there was no limit to the knowledge that can be absorbed while working in a Krishna Vamsi film. He also said that he is yet to come across a director with such amazing knowledge of music, lyrics and song picturization. Gopichand said Mogudu will have a strong emphasis on family and relationships and will be a movie that will have an instant connect with the audience. Mogudu is slated for a November 4th release.
