Mounaguru directed by debutant Shantha Kumar is a movie which needs to be appreciated among all. The movie starring Arul Nidhi, Iniya in the lead roles was released without much promotions and low expectations. But the gripping storyline and narration pulled crowds to the theaters. Even let theater owners to increase the shows because of the public interest. Finally it is Kollaikaran directed by Tamilselvan who is also a newcomer. The film had Viddharth of Mynaa fame and Sanchita Shetty in the lead roles. It is a usual storyline but filled with funny moments on the lines of superhit Kalavani. Kollaikaran had a decent opening but later faded out.

Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan slapped choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan's husband Shirish Kundar at a party in the early hours of Monday, January 30. This incident took place in the party hosted by Sanjay Dutt to celebrate the success of his recent film 'Agneepath' at Aurus in the suburbs of Mumbai . Shahrukh entered the venue at around 4:30 am in an inebriated condition, after the 57th Filmfare Awards. He approached Shirish Kundar, slapped him and also pulled him down to the ground. The onlookers were shocked to see the Superstar behave in such a manner. While Sanjay Dutt, who hosted the party, finally pulled Shahrukh back to put an end to the brawl. "Shahrukh Khan was drunk when he came to the party. He assaulted my husband for no reason. Shahrukh has always told me that physical abuse is the worst way to sort out a problem, and that it means the person who is hitting has either a personal or professional crisis going on. It saddens me to see him doing the same," said Farah Khan, confirming the reports.
It may be recalled that both Shahrukh Khan and Farah Khan were once close friends. She directed two films ('Main Hoon Naa', 'Om Shanti Om') of Shahrukh, which went on to become superhits. However, their friendship soured last year and the reasons behind it were unknown. And Shirish Kundar targetting Shahrukh on the social networking site Twitter has made things even worse. The story of the film is ready and NTR has reportedly gave his green signal for Sukumar, says the buzz. He expressed his view that creativity should have no languages barrier and there is nothing wrong in remaking the movies from other languages. He expressed his honest opinion on the 'never-ending' caste based division between the fans in the Telugu Film Industry. Recently, one of his enthusiastic fans questioned him - Why not all the Heroes in the Industry come on one platform and show their unity to put an end to the caste based division?, Rajamouli replied,"Such a gesture has been done by Heroes many times but sadly caste is too deeply ingrained in the minds of people". "This is not something new in Tollywood. It is a common practice. The fans worship the heroes who belong to their caste and will abandon the films of others, indulge in mud-slinging activities and finally end up creating unhealthy environment. This happened in the past, happening now and will happen in future as well," said a film critic. Sadly, the well educated people were active members in the 'discrimination of caste', which is prevailing in our so-called modern society. The shooting of this 20days schedule was started two days back at that location. The important stunt sequences and few scenes will be canned by the crazy director Boyapati Sreenu in this schedule. Yesteryear actress Bhanupriya is seen as mother of NTR and Kota Srinivasa Rao is portraying as Grandfather to NTR and hero Venu Thottempudi is playing as brother-in-law to NTR.
