Young tiger Jr NTR’s new film in the direction of Boyapati Sreenu has been complete the two shooting schdules. Soon Jr NTR is going to join in the shooting of the film. Title Dhammu is under consideration for the film and the movie first look also revealed. Sruthi Hassan is playing the female lead role in the film. Dhammu film trailer is also doing rounds on the web.The film is being produced by KS Ramarao on creative commercials banner. MM Keeravani is scoring the music for the film.

SS Rajamouli completes 10 years

Sensational director SS Rajamouli completes 10 years career as director. His first film Student No.1 was released on Sep 27, 2001. In these ten years Rajamouli made eight films and all of them were hits. He is currently making his ninth film Eega, which will release next year.


Rajamouli started off his career by making Government ads and later directed few episodes of Santhi Nivasam serial. He turned director with Student No.1 which was a good hit. His second film Simhadri was a blockbuster and he went on to deliver biggest hits to all the heroes who worked under him. Magadheera is his best work till date which has rewritten history. Rajamouli never makes similar type of movies as he likes to experiment within his zone. He is the best director in Tollywood at the moment and will be on par with Shankar in South Indian film industry.

Srinu Vytla to direct Mahesh Babu again

Director Srinu Vytla, who delivered huge hit with Dookudu, wishes to make another film with Mahesh Babu soon. His next movie is with NTR Jr. (tentatively titled Mafia) after which he wants to make one more movie with Mahesh in the lead.


Mahesh Babu was mighty pleased with Srinu Vytla’s style of working and with Dookudu poised to become the biggest hit in his career Mahesh would love to work under his direction again. But as of now Mahesh’s diary is packed. He is busy until 2012 end or early 2013. So if Srinu vytla wants to make a film with Mahesh Babu again, he has to wait for some time. At the moment Dookudu is on a record breaking spree in all the regions. Especially opening week records are being smashed all over by it.  

Dookudu to collect 10 crore+ in overseas

Overseas market of Tollywood was never this big. It was considered as one of the smallest markets on par with Guntur and Krishna region. But Mahesh Babu and Dookudu changed the statistics forever. This film shows how much untapped market is there in overseas. Dookudu is all set to break Magadheera’s full run record in Less than a week in this region.


As per the early estimates, Dookudu is likely to collect over 10 crores in Overseas which is beyond the expectations by a mile. Overseas distributors are reaping rich benefits with Dookudu. The collections of this film are shocking one and all. With Dookudu, Mahesh Babu turned out to be the emperor of overseas box office. His future films are going to be sold for more than five crores, say analysts. Dookudu was sold for a little over 3 crores.

Nithya Menon banned!

Actress Nithya Menon who makes to headlines for wrong reasons, is now facing the ire of Malayalam producers. Nithya is one of the frontline actresses of Malayalam cinema. Recently a top producer went to meet Nithya Menon for signing her in his next film. Nithya, who was reportedly taking rest in a cottage, didn’t turn up to meet him and sent a message that her manager will look into it.

That producer was accompanied by few more top producers was shocked with Nithya’s arrogant behavior and lodged a complaint against her in Producers council. Kerala film producers association took this matter very seriously and imposed ban on her. They have requested South Indian film Chamber to ban her in all the South Indian languages.
Nithya’s behavior has already irked Tollywood makers when she made rude remarks against top actors Venkatesh and Prabhas. Now this would be a further setback for the cute actress.

Amala Paul’s affair with director

Amala Paul, who was seen in dubbed films Nanna and Prema Khaidi, is currently acting opposite Naga Chaitanya in Bejawada movie. Amala is considered as one of the talents to watch out for. Meanwhile she is being a meal to gossip munching people as they are linking her to a director named Vijay.

Amala acted under Vijay’s direction in Nanna and from then on she has been good friend to him. Amala and Vijay are seen hanging out frequently which triggered these rumors. Amala is also attending personal functions of Vijay, thus adding fuel to the fire.
But Amala vehemently denied all these rumors and told that she is not having any affair with Vijay. “He is just a good friend to me. What is wrong in attending a function at friend’s home,” she quipped.

Let's catch up with Srinu Vaitla who talks about Dookudu and shares some of his insights on the this super hit movie.

Your feelings on Dookudu Setting New Tollywood records
I'm thrilled and never celebrated this much. All my previous films are on one side and Dookudu is on the other side. In fact, I never spoke non-stop on my mobile this much since my mobile is constantly ringing. I was very excited when I heard about Dookudu breaking records and the first day collections. Its very difficult to explain the feelings since there are so many great things happening at the same time. Cant ask for anything more!


Do you have any Predetermined notions before the start of this movie
Yes! We don’t want to compromise on anything. This is what me and Mahesh decided before commencing this project. We really are poised to make something really big and we are confident about the script and I'm very happy we've done that.


Dookudu is a Typical Seenu Vaitla's script. What's your say!
All my movies have lot of characters. The script consists of a multi-layered characters with sub-plots although it is wee bit confusing. I worked on this script for around 9 months and my dialogue writers helped me a lot in framing the characters. This makes things easy for me to write the screenplay and do justice to the multiple characters


About Brahmanandam and MS Narayana's Sattire
Its not a satire. Generally, so many aspiring come to me asking for chances. They bring show reel alongside and showcase to me and sometimes its really funny to see some of the shades. This has inspired me to write a character for MS Narayana in the movie as someone who is interested to become a hero. And Brahmi did a great job on the Padma Sri, a  character that is bigger than my previous films. I create unique names and characters (like Chicago Subba Rao, McDowells Murthy, etc) since it becomes easy for people to remember.


How could Dookudu script managed to have all commercial elements 
Yes! Any blockbuster needs sentiments, emotions, action, suspense, etc. All these ingredients are in a settled way in Dookudu to make it a blockbuster. The script itself is tightly knitted to ensure that scope for all these elements.


Father – Son Sentiment Worked Well?
When we were searching for the artiste to play father character, it was Mahesh Babu who recommended Prakas Raj and we have okayed it immediately. I think the father-son philosophy worked well in the movie.


How could you cast Samantha in this movie, considering her height besides Mahesh
I've seen Ye Maaya Chesave and Samantha has done a great job. I knew Mahesh Babu and Samantha's on-screen chemistry would touch and go but I'm looking for ana ctress who can act naturally and I thought she was apt for the role. Moreover, before anyone commented, I myself made Mahesh utter dialogues like 'Nee size enti... Naa size enti”.


Why Parvathi Melton for the item song 
Firstly, I don’t want to do an item song, instead, I want to do an old classic song like Helen who was the most popular vamp of that era. Helen had performed in scores of item numbers in such popular movies. So I want to shoot a song that has classic touch and appeal, and I thought Parvathi Melton was fit the bill.


Dialogues are the real highlight 
To me, creating situation is my strength and as such it is difficult  to write dialogue for my timing. After discussing with my writers, I finally write dialogues on my own. Kona Venkat is terrific writer and I took his help in penning down heroism dialogues.


On the criticism about the length of the movie.

Well, as long as people are entertained, movie's length doesn’t matter. There's lot of drama and comedy people are enjoying and so I don’t think length would be a problem.

Sanjjanaa Cried For Young Hero

More than her image as an actress, Sanjjanaa is known for her various linkups and of course, her overflowing sex appeal. While no one knows how many boy friends she has, there was a recent talk that she was moving around with Kollywood hero Bharath. But here is something else which has come up.

Reports say that Sanjjanaa was crying uncontrollably recently and the reason for that was another actor. He is none other than Navadeep. Well, Navadeep was about to die had he caught a flight to Nepal which crashed. While he is yet to recover from that shocking thought, it is heard that Sanjjanaa was all worried and got in touch with him through phone.
 Apparently, the filmnagar folks say Sanjjanaa had a hot 'something something' with Navadeep and even recently, they were seen working together for the film 'Mugguru'. While their bonding is not known to many, her concern has reportedly touched the heart of Navadeep who is also known for his playboy image.

'NTR' War Among Nandamuri Cousins

Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao, the name that became a legend in AP as ‘NTR’, was taken by his grandson as Jr NTR and that is known for all. But recently even Tarakaratna claimed to be rechristening his name as NTR (Nandamuri Taraka Rathna). Obviously that is going to create confusion. On the other hand Jr NTR wanted to avoid Jr as prefix for his name. But with Tarakaratna becoming NTR, there is going to be confusion in Tollywood.

Inside news say that Tarakaratna is doing this only to disturb Jr NTR as the later is not seeing eye to eye even with Balakrishna or any Nandamuri family member after his marriage with highly rich Lakshmi Pranathi. Even during Oosaravelli audio function, Balayya didn’t turn up at all. Jr NTR didn’t even compromise on postponing the release date of Oosaravelli giving way to Sri Rama Rajyam.

Jr NTR’s popularity is disturbing Nandamuri cousins. And Jr NTR is in the feeling that he and his mother were insulted for many years by that family but now coming forward to use them politically. Hence he is showing his power now with his own whims and fancies, not worrying about anyone. 

We have to see how far Tarakaratna’s decision affects Jr NTR.

Allu Arjun with Bommarillu Bhaskar

Stylish star Allu Arjun is soon going to work in a film that will be directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. The movie will be produced by BVSN Prasad and the movie will go to sets next year.

Allu Arjun was so impressed by the story that Bhaskar narrated that he immediately gave his approval for the movie. There are two other films Allu Arjun has committed himself to and this film will start after those two films are completed.

Other details are yet to be finalized and formal announcements are expected soon. Allu Arjun and Bhaskar teamed up for ‘Parugu’ earlier. The film was a decent grosser. Bhaskar is eager to come back with a bang after facing a setback with ‘Orange’.

Dookudu Crosses 5 Cr mark in Nizam

Dookudu is turning in a truly stunning performance in the Nizam area. By the end of the fourth day, the collections raced past the 5 Crore mark and our sources inform us that they stand at approximately 5 Crores 60 Lakhs. Dookudu is on track to collect about Rs 7 Crore 75 lakhs in Nizam by the end of the first week.

Mahesh Babu’s telangana dialect and the rib tickling comedy scenes involving Brahmanandam and M.S.Narayana are proving to be the main attractions. 

Sreenu Vytla has successfully orchestrated brilliant comedy sequences and they are turning out to be the best in Prince Mahesh Babu’s career. Thaman’s tunes are adding to the movie’s appeal and Samantha’s glamour is providing the necessary oomph.

Dookudu crosses 1 crore in Vizag

Prince Mahesh Babu’s high voltage action and comedy entertainer Dookudu has been doing phenomenally well across Andhra Pradesh and records are falling by the wayside.The industry is celebrating with joy and happiness as everyone in the film chain is making money, not just the producers. Sources inform us that Dookudu has raked in about Rs 1 Crore 30 Lakhs by the fourth day in Visakhapatnam.

Going by current trends, the movie is on target to cross 4 Crores in Vishakhapatnam. The movie was bought for about Rs 3 Crores. So Dookudu is turning out to be very profitable for its investors.

It has been a while since the industry has seen such collections in all areas of the state.

We know, the heading is still confusing you and here is the insider information about it. According to grapevine, NTR's name in the movie is Tony Makatio. The film happens in the backdrop of a foreign country like Ramcharan's ORANGE. It is heard that the makers are a bit apprehensive about releasing the story related news of the flick. What is making them to step back is the 'class' character of NTR in the movie.

Till today, there are no instances in Tollywood where a 'mass' action hero is completely accepted as a 'class' guy. Other reasons are the availability of theatres for the flick, as many other small budgeted flicks are competing with OOSARAVELLI to cash on the Dasara advantage. Wait and see if 'Tony' can really satisfy Nandamuri fans or not!
