All of a sudden Ram Gopal Varma declared on twitter that Khaidi is going to get remade. Many have shocked reading that. In fact Puri Jagannath also tweeted in support of RGV’s tweet. The major shock point was it was announced that Mahesh Babu is going to portray the title role.

But when enquired, finally it was ruled out as a gossip. And now, Mahesh Babu is busy with 'The Businessman'. And he has 'Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' as his next project. So it is out of question to see Mahesh Babu in Khaidi.

But many are feeling that it would be nice to see Mahesh Babu in the remake of 'Alluri Seetarama Raju' if happens. Yes, that is really a good idea indeed.

So, it sounds sensible to see Mahesh Babu in 'Alluri Seetarama Raju' but not in 'Khaidi'. And Khaidi can be remade. If at all, with Ram Charan only, and there can be no other substitute.

Trisha upset with Mahesh Babu Rumors

Top actress Trisha may not be hot anymore as many young heroines are ruling the roost. But Trisha is still not down and out as she is the only choice for many films with senior actors in the lead. Recently a wild rumor made rounds about her stating that she would play elder sister-in-law (vadina) to Mahesh Babu in Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu movie.

Venkatesh and Mahesh are playing brothers in this film and Trisha is rumored to play Venkatesh’s wife in it. Trisha acted opposite Mahesh in Atadu and Sainikudu movies and playing an elderly role to him will definitely lower her image.

Trisha who came to know about these news reports is shell shocked and deeply upset. "How would I play an elderly role to Mahesh with whom I have done two films as a heroine? Right now I am enjoying the best phase of my career and these rumors have shocked me like hell," she told. Gone are the days when heroines played mother and sister roles to the actors with whom they danced around. On a side note, Trisha would be mighty pleased to bag a role opposite Junior NTR who is almost ten years younger to Mahesh!

Secret behind @ Dookudu 50 Days Function

Producers of Dookudu are planning to conduct fifty days function of the movie in a grand way. The venue is fixed in Vijayawada and the unit of Dookudu is expecting a huge crowd. Mahesh Babu is generally against public functions although he participated in few like Okkadu silver jubilee function.

For Dookudu even the star is showing keen interest as he is extremely happy with the film being a humongous hit. He wanted to share his joy with his fans. But the sources from film nagar say that there are few hidden agendas in conducting this function in such a grand manner. Dookudu makers claim that they have surpassed Magadheera all time records but the trade analysts contradict with it.

Even though few shows are being aired by various news channels stating that Magadheera record was broken, people are not believing these claims. The producers of Dookudu haven't released any collections info regarding this. Hence, they are banking on word of mouth to make people believe that Dookudu is a bigger hit than Magadheera.

They will state that Dookudu has broken Magadheera on the fifty days stage amidst lakhs of fans and film buffs and so that they will get the maximum mileage from the media too. Right from the day one the hyped collection figures of Dookudu have been in circulation with a sole aim to beat Magadheera. But the fact is that Dookudu will end with more than fifteen crores short of Magadheera in its full run going by the trend.

He first true multi-starrer in many many years to come out of the Telugu Cinema Industry is‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’. Prince Mahesh Babu and Victory Venkatesh are going to share screen space and that thought alone is causing a lot of joy for Telugu Cinema fans.

Samantha has been roped in as the heroine opposite Mahesh Babu and a leading actress is being approached to play Venkatesh’s wife in the movie. Meanwhile, we have received information that the music for this film is being composed by Mickey J Meyer. Mickey is a new age musician whose work is mostly influenced by western beats. His last work was for the movie ‘Anaganaga oka Dheerudu’.

Trivikram trying to give profits before release

Trivikram has a terrific record of coming up with movies that have witty dialogues and memorable scenes. But he also has the dubious reputation of budget overruns and extensive production delays. The latest talk in Filmnagar is that Trivikram is trying his utmost to break all those stigmas with his next film which has Allu Arjun in the lead.Ileana is the heroine and Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music.

Allu Arjun and Trivikram have reportedly reduced their remuneration for the film to break the cycle of escalating production budgets. Trivikram is also reportedly going in with a bound script for this movie to save time and avoid production delays. The normal industry report is that Allu Arjun’s films have a business potential of about 34 Crores. So Trivikram is said to be hell bent on finishing this movie within 30 Crores to give his producer Danayya a table profit of 4 Crores before release.

We will have to wait and see if these objectives are achieved by the end of the film’s production, but for now, the intentions are noble and are worth appreciating. Good going Trivikram

Harish Shankar does a cameo in Nippu

Harish Shankar, the director of Mirapakay, has done a cameo in Ravi Teja’s upcoming film Nippu. Gunasekhar is directing the film and YVS Chowdary is producing it. Buzz is that Harish Shankar had visited the sets of Nippu at Prasads Multiplex on October 27 and ended up staying there till 4 AM during which Gunasekhar canned some scenes on the director. Harish happens to be a close friend of Ravi Teja and both his films, Shock and Mirapakay, had Ravi Teja in the lead role.

Deeksha Seth is the heroine in Nippu and this is her second film with Ravi Teja after Mirapakay. Akula Siva has written the script and Sarvesh Murari is the cinematographer. Thaman has composed the music. The film’s audio is expected to hit the stands in December and the makers are planning to release the film for Pongal, 2012.

Chetan Bhagat surprises Madhura Sreedhar

There’s absolutely no direct connection between Madhura Sreedhar’s upcoming film It’s My Love Story and popular writer Chetan Bhagat. Earlier today, the writer somehow spotted the poster of the film and he was pleasantly surprised to see that the lead pair in the film, Aravind Krishna and Nikitha Narayan, holding his third book ‘3 Mistakes of My Life’ and he tweeted, ‘This is a Telugu film poster. So what is this oversized book they r reading?  ’. It was a pleasant surprise for Madhura Sreedhar who’s a self-confessed fan of Chetan Bhagat.

The film is a love story between a Warangal boy who’s a computer game designer and Vizag girl who’s a fashion designer. MVK Reddy has produced the film and Sunil Kashyap has composed the music. The film is going to hit the screens on November 11.

Pawan- the silent killer

Power Star Pawan Kalyan is a silent killer. A supreme and dangerous hunter devoid of weaknesses like anger, sadness, elation etc. Well, we are not talking about Pawan’s real life nature. We are talking about his character in the upcoming movie ‘Panjaa’. Pawan’s radical new look in the film has been making waves in the public.

The audio launch of the movie will take place at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium on November 13th and the film will hit the screens worldwide on December 9th. The movie’s shoot has been completed barring one song and the post production activities are in full swing.

The makers of the film say that Pawan’s performance is going to be a treat to watch in the movie. ‘Panjaa’ has Sarah Jane Dias and Anjali Lavania as the heroines.The movie is being produced by Shobhu Yarlagadda and Neelima Thirumalasetty . Tamil director Vishnuvardhan has handled this project and Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the tunes.

The hot Swetha Bharadwaj has been roped in to sizzle in the item song opposite Mahesh and Thaman is scoring the music for this film. We have also heard that the title track of this film will be ‘Bombay Bombay’.

Mahesh Babu and Puri Jagannath are teaming up once again to try and recreate the magic of ‘Pokiri. The movie is an out and out commercial entertainer and the movie will have the Mumbai Mafia as the backdrop. Kajal Aggarwal is playing the female lead.
