ISHQ Dominates @ 'Poolarangadu' In Collections!!!

The collections of the film ‘Ishq’ are rocking up. The film has been bagging positive response from all corners and steadily increasing its collections. Many centers are recording houseful collections although the opening day collections were around 70% on an average.
It is known that the film ‘Poolarangadu’ is doing well at box office of B and C centers. But interestingly, despite a soft youthful urban love story, ‘Ishq’ is also making a big fortune at A, B and C centers.
Trade analysts are saying that if this speed continues in total run, Ishq may give a tough competition for Poola Rangadu. Right now the word of mouth publicity is getting stronger for ‘Ishq’. Let us wait and see.

Akshara Gowda @ in Mahesh-Sukumar Movie!!

Akshara Gowda, who made headlines last year for her alleged link-up with cricketer Yuvraj Singh, has now signed a film with none other than Mahesh Babu.
According to a source, the Bangalore beauty has been signed up for Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu’s next with director Sukumar.
“Angela Jonsson and Akshara were in the race for the role, but Akshara got it,” says the source.
“Akshara is thrilled about the film as she has been waiting for the right opportunity to make her Tollywood debut,” says the source, adding that the film is a thriller, shooting for which will commence in March.

Will Mahesh Babu's @ Title Go To Jr NTR?

Junior NTR has been working back to back on his projects and while he is gearing up to arrive with his movie ‘Dammu’ in the month of April, here is another one. It is heard that his new project with director Srinu Vytla would be hitting the floors on March 18th and the regular shooting will commence from the same day.
Junior would be pairing up with Kajal Agarwal in the lead and the team that worked for ‘Dookudu’ would be part of this project. Now, the buzz is that the film has been titled as ‘Badshah’. However, inside sources say both Vytla and producer Boorugupalli had registered this title with Mahesh Babu in mind.
On the other hand, nothing official came from NTR’s camp regarding the title. So it remains to be seen whether the title will really go to NTR. On the other hand, the makers are targeting Dussehra for the release so the shooting will happen briskly. Once that is done, the young tiger will jump into another project with Puri Jagannadh.

PawanKalyan @ Warns Puri on Double Standards!!

Director Puri Jagannath adopts various kinds of tactics to elevate heroism in his flicks. Apparently his projects with heroes like Raviteja, Prabhas and recently Mahesh Babu are best examples. However, there will be a difference in Puri’s dealing of pawan kalyan as already seen in ‘Badri’ when compared to other super hit flicks of this director. Currently there is a strong gossip going around film circles that, Pawan has strictly warned Puri not to indulge in any sort of filthy or double meaning dialogues in their upcoming ‘Cameraman Ganga Tho Ram Babu’ trying to bring the new standards in his heroism.
Given the nature of Puri to easily cross the border line as recently observed in dialogues of ‘Businessman,’ it looks as if Pawan surely do not want to make any of the family audiences get uncomfortable. However, it is natural that Pawan never ever entertains double standards in his flicks.

The reports of Heroine Ananya ('Journey' fame) has got cheated by her fiance Anjaneyan who was engaged recently topped the headlines.
According to the reports, Businessman Anjaneyan was a married man and applied for a mutual divorse in court, which is still pending. But, he kept the information hidden from Ananya. Somehow, the actress came to know about it and her parents had lodged a complaint against Anjaneyan.
However, Ananya condemned the rumors calling them speculative and inappropriate reporting. "All these were baseless rumors. As reported in the media, Anjaneyan didn't cheat on me and he doesn't have kids.He himself has told me about his first marriage and why it didn't last for long? These speculative reports had hurt me. I ask the media to maintain some restraint," said Ananya.

Nagarjuna @ is the best among the TOP 4!!

Nagarjuna couldn't enjoy the mass following as Chiranjeevi or Balakrishna did. He didn't have the success rate of Venkatesh either. However, he had been on top by making path breaking films and also regular commercial potboilers. Nagarjuna was regarded as one of the pillars of Tollywood for over a period of two decades.
Now with the Top 4 have gone aside and are failing to compete with the younger stars, it is time to look back at the achievements of these veterans. Chiranjeevi ruled the roost and was an undisputed king while he was limited to cine field. Entering politics has brought down his image and fan following. He has become laughing stock in politics and every Tom, Dick and Harry has thrown mud on him.
Balakrishna is still doing films that doesn't suit his age and is being humiliated time and again. Adhinayakudu having no takers has worsened things for him. Venkatesh too is not doing films that suit his age. Acting opposite very young heroines is not earning him any respect.
Among all the four, Nagarjuna realized that he can't do so called romantic or commercial films anymore and he started heading in a different path before someone shows him one. He also knows that everybody doesn't fit in politics and is staying away from direct politics. He has always been a thinking hero and that is finally getting his due as public agree that he is the best strategic hero among the celebrated four.

Rajamouli's @ Worries for Nithya Menen!!

The tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli is one man who is known for his objective oriented talk and doesn't really waver in his thoughts. He is also honest in giving out his opinions on other movies and actors. Right now, it appears that Rajamouli seems to be a little concerned about one heroine.
This girl happens to be very talented and naturally beautiful but the problem is her shape. We are talking about the magnetic face beauty Nithya Menen and she has stolen hearts once again with her act in the recent release 'Ishq'. As it is, Nithya has a short height so given her chubby figure, she looks further short.
Rajamouli from his end reportedly mentioned that he is hoping to see Nithya focusing on her weight and shape. It is not just Rajamouli but quite a number of cine folks who have expressed the same opinion. Nithya has it all to make it to the top league and all she needs to do is shape up. Hope she obliges to all the concerns.

Superstar Mahesh Babu has been way ahead in the number one race with two big hits in a row. He has three films among the top five all time hits in Tollywood history. Mahesh has gained serious pace with Dookudu and Businessman movies. Now it is the time for other close competitors to prove their mettle.
All the three close competitors of Mahesh Babu are coming up with their latest releases this summer. Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh, Junior NTR's Dammu and Ram Charan's Racha are slated for release in summer with a considerable gap between them. All the three movies are riding high on expectations and their fans are expecting these films to be huge hits and thus proving that they are as good as Mahesh when they deliver the goods.
Fans are not expecting them to break the records, but a forty to fifty crore blockbuster will do. Because by doing so they will prove a point that with the changed market strategies and statistics, every superstar can recreate the magic of Dookudu at the box office. So that will keep the 'number one kaun!' debate open and intact. Interesting scenario indeed!

Telugu Film Business is coming back to a normal after a long time. Unlike a couple of blockbusters and rest all biting mud, Tollywood is seeing a fresh lease of life in 2012.
This year started on a high note with 'Businessman' creating wonders at the Box Office. Though some people criticized the movie for its excessive dose of philosophy and violence, the Mahesh Babu starrer created records in collections. This is followed by Venky's 'Bodyguard' which put up a considerable show. Later February saw the successes of Sunil's 'Poola Rangadu' and Siddharth's 'Love Failure'. Freshly, Nitin's 'Ishq' got rave reviews for its fresh looks and is slowly picking up at theaters.
For every set of films released in a particular weekend, at least one of them is perfroming well these days, a noted producer says. If every month a couple of films scores hits like this, then the industry can survive any kinds of financial debacles, say producers. Is this not 'Tollywood Shining'

Pawan Kalyan's @ Magic Works Again!!

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has spilled his magic once again, if the Box Office result of 'Ishq' is any indication.
The brand of Powerstar has surely increased the reach of 'Ishq'. His gracious presence at the audio launch of the film is said to be having a big impact on the revenue. Despite Nitin having 12 successive flops under his belt, the opening weekend collections of Ishq are promising and not to forget Pawan here. Ishq is posing a serious threat to Sunil's Poola Rangadu in A and B centres.
Nitin is on cloud nine and has every reason to be happy with the successful run of 'Ishq'. Don't be surprised, if the young crop of heroes queue up before Pawan for that magical touch!!!
