The turmoil is still on. The imbroglio surrounded in the matter of Dookudu and Magadheera collections has been quivering the senses and sensibilities of fans. At last makers of Dookudu are contacted and revealed the facts. They explained where the difference mattered.“First, We request fans not to get into strife of tongues. We believe in fraternity of stars as well fans. We want to tell you certain truths. We never told that Dookudu crossed other movies in all areas. Its run is going on and there are some regions where Dookudu has to cross other movies.(Later we came to know that MD's record is still ruling in Nizam,Ceded and some districts in coastal.) But what mattered is the total world wide collection, overseas collections that has shown a revolution. The craze of Mahesh, family audience of Srinu Vytla especially in cities and overseas did the magic.The dollar value has risen in big way from the days of Magadheera in 2009 to Dookudu in 2011. Dookudu collected 1.5 million dollar only in the multiplexes of USA and 30% can be added to it pertaining to the collections from stand alone theatres. And the collections were tremendous in other parts of the world like UK, Australia, Canada, Dubai and Germany. On a whole, the overseas gross of Dookudu was about Rs 20 Cr approx, which is almost Rs 15 Cr more than that of Magadheera. And this happened only due to dollar value as I said and also the business opportunities we got from entire world unlike the days of Magadheera” said makers of Dookudu.So with this feed, we can say that since Dookudu is claiming Rs 101 Cr as gross(47Days), the share will be around Rs 70 Cr (deducting 30% in general). And Magadheera declared Rs 83 Cr as Gross and so the share is Rs 58 Cr as stated by Allu Sirish on twitter earlier. So had there been no Rs 15 Cr(Share 12Crs) difference of overseas, Dookudu would have recorded only Rs 58 Cr (Rs 70- Rs 12=Rs 58 Cr).So it is only the dollar value, business opportunities from other countries, openings due to number of theatres that brought huge collections for Dookudu but not any other factor.It is an open truth that Dookudu is not a film to compare with Magadheera in terms of graphics, presentation and mesmerizing power. Magadheera is a Tollywood epic for ever. Dookudu is a film that cashed out of situation.
The conspicuous absence of megastar Chiranjeevi at the audio release function of Panja, the forthcoming block buster movie of his brother, power star Pawan Kalyan in Hyderabad, on Saturday, raised many eyebrows in the film circles.Audio release functions of films have attained a lot of significance these days because they kick off the promotion for the film and so, all the bigwigs in the film associated with the actors or actresses or directors invariably attend the function to promote the film. Normally, Chiranjeevi does not skip such functions involving his family members – whether it is his son Ram Charan Teja, nephew Allu Arjun or brother-in-law Allu Aravind.But on Saturday, none of Chiranjeevi’s family members – his elder brother Naga Babu, son Ramcharan Teja, Allu Aravind or Allu Arjun was present at the function to promote Pawan Kalyan. Even the power star’s wife Renu Desai was conspicuous by her absence.All through the film function, Pawan Kalyan appeared lonely. Though he tried to hide his disappointment, it was evident on his face. As if rubbing salt on his wounds, anchor Suma said: “Allu Arjun, Vinayak and Harish Shankar were stuck in traffic and hence they couldn’t reach here on time.” Pawan Kalyan felt uncomfortable at that moment.
He tried to put up a brave face, saying he had to do a lot of hard work to reach this stage. “This recognition to me has not come overnight nor did I inherit from anyone. It was because of my hard work and the support of fans,” he said, in an indirect reference to his brother Chiranjeevi.But the fans could not but talk about the absence of Chiranjeevi. “We all know how Chiranjeevi rushes to Delhi whenever Congress president Sonia Gandhi calls him. We have seen how he came to Badrinath audio function along with his wife and daughter. We know how his face glows bright in the family functions of Allu Aravind. But why did he avoid Pawan Kalyan’s function? Well, even if he was busy, he would have sent his representatives. Is this the unity we wish to see in Mega family?” a fan lamented.The bottom-line is that the fans are worried over the growing distance between Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. All that they wish is to see the mega family remain united in all aspects. According to the grapevine, writer-cum-director Trivikram Srinivas will be directing young tiger NTR soon. NTR was very much impressed with the story line narrated by Trivikram and the project was flagged off by the star immediately. This crazy project will go to the floors as soon as Trivikram wraps up Allu Arjun's film and by that time NTR will be done with 'Dammu' shooting. NTR's film with Srinu Vytla will be shot simultaneously with Trivikram's film.The film is touted to be a complete family entertainer with Trivikram mark light hearted comedy.
