Damarukam fresh schedule begins

Damarukam, the socio fantasy extravaganza of King Nagarjuna, has started shooting at Ramoji Film City for a fresh schedule. The unit recently returned from Karnataka where some key episodes were shot.

Damarukam is Nagarjuna’s most expensive film to date and the movie is being produced by R.R.Movie Makers. No expense is being spared to make the movie look grand and stunning. The film is said to be loosely based on the super hit Indian novel ‘The Immortals of Meluha’. The concept is that of an ordinary man rising to greatness when he stands up to fight evil.

Anushka is the heroine opposite Nagarjuna for this movie and Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the tunes. The movie is being directed by Srinivas Reddy.

Annapurna Studios teams up with Reliance Media Works

Annapurna Studios, which was established by Akkineni Nageshwara Rao in 1975, has teamed up with Anil Ambani’s Reliance Media Works to manage the studio in Hyderabad. The deal between the two firms was struck recently and as per the agreement, Reliance Media Works will manage and operate the entire studio and also expand the digital post production facilities.

Annapurna Studios has played host to hundreds of film shootings and TV serials in the past few decades. With a boom on Television content and growth in entertainment sector at large, there’s a huge demand for floor space, production and post production facilities. At this juncture, this alliance between Annapurna Studios and Reliance Media Works is expected to be a win-win situation for both the parties.
 

Swetha Bharadwaj shakes a leg in Business Man

Prince Mahesh Babu’s upcoming movie ‘The Businessman’ will have a hot item song with Swetha Bharadwaj as the central attraction. The movie’s shoot is proceeding at a brisk pace and the film will be released on January 11th 2012.

Kajal Aggarwal is the heroine in this movie. Puri Jagannath is directing this film and it is being produced by R.R.Movie Makers. Music is being composed by Thaman.

The film reportedly revolves around the dealings of the Mumbai mafia.

Genelia is the female lead in this movie and Prakash Tholeti is the director. Paruchuri Kiriti is producing this film. Shooting is now on in Ramoji Film City and the movie is now in its last schedule of production. The movie is a romantic comedy entertainer and Brahmanandam is portraying a very key role in the movie.

Music is being scored by Chakri. Ali,Raghubabu, Nasser, Subbaraju, Pragathi and others will be see in the movie.

Allu Arjun and Trivikram film from Nov

Stylish Star Allu Arjun will soon start working for Trivikram Srinivas’s film and the news is that this venture will begin production from Nov 2nd onwards. The movie has Ileana as the heroine and Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music.

The movie is being produced by Danayya and the film will be a comedy entertainer with a romantic angle, as per the production unit. The film has been delayed for a while now due to the shoulder injury of Allu Arjun. He subsequently went to Australia and underwent surgery for the same.

Allu Arjun says that he has fully recovered from the injury and is raring to go.
