It is heard that Charan’s eyes are on a film like ‘Chantabbayi’, a total comedy riot. Though the film was not a hit, it gave Chiranjeevi a huge acclaim as an actor and took his stardom to a new level. Also, sources say Charan wants to come up with a budget controlled movie so that his performance will project him. Though there is a strong potential of acting among the top league heroes, due to the budget madness and bloated figures mania, the Telugu heroes are losing their true performance angle and credibility. At this point, how will it be to do a film like ‘Chantabbayi’. If Charan’s thoughts are indeed true, then it is a very good decision and an interesting experience for the viewers to see him in a full length comedy movie.
The highest paid director of Indian cinema Shankar is upbeat at the BO results for his recent release nanban. Starring Vijay, Srikanth and Jeeva in lead roles, the movie a remake of Hindi hit Three Idiots, opened big. Says Shankar, 'When I got the offer to direct this film, it was with Vijay in the lead. I was sure he could pull off Aamir’s role and that’s why I signed on the film. Everyone liked Nanban more because Vijay has done something different from his usual roles.' Asked on doing a remake, he says, 'I never expected to ever do a remake. This was a new experience, unexpected, but I won’t do another remake. Not even a remake of my own film'

Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan slapped choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan's husband Shirish Kundar at a party in the early hours of Monday, January 30. This incident took place in the party hosted by Sanjay Dutt to celebrate the success of his recent film 'Agneepath' at Aurus in the suburbs of Mumbai . Shahrukh entered the venue at around 4:30 am in an inebriated condition, after the 57th Filmfare Awards. He approached Shirish Kundar, slapped him and also pulled him down to the ground. The onlookers were shocked to see the Superstar behave in such a manner. While Sanjay Dutt, who hosted the party, finally pulled Shahrukh back to put an end to the brawl. "Shahrukh Khan was drunk when he came to the party. He assaulted my husband for no reason. Shahrukh has always told me that physical abuse is the worst way to sort out a problem, and that it means the person who is hitting has either a personal or professional crisis going on. It saddens me to see him doing the same," said Farah Khan, confirming the reports.

He expressed his view that creativity should have no languages barrier and there is nothing wrong in remaking the movies from other languages. He expressed his honest opinion on the 'never-ending' caste based division between the fans in the Telugu Film Industry. Recently, one of his enthusiastic fans questioned him - Why not all the Heroes in the Industry come on one platform and show their unity to put an end to the caste based division?, Rajamouli replied,"Such a gesture has been done by Heroes many times but sadly caste is too deeply ingrained in the minds of people". "This is not something new in Tollywood. It is a common practice. The fans worship the heroes who belong to their caste and will abandon the films of others, indulge in mud-slinging activities and finally end up creating unhealthy environment. This happened in the past, happening now and will happen in future as well," said a film critic. Sadly, the well educated people were active members in the 'discrimination of caste', which is prevailing in our so-called modern society.
