Super Star Mahesh Babu who is riding high on the success of Dookudu is currently busy with his latest offering The Businessman. The movie wrapped up its climax scenes yesterday and is gearing up for release on January 11. Mahesh has also signed a film under the direction of Sukumar where he plays the role of a lecturer.

The latest news that is doing rounds in film nagar is that Mahesh Babu is going to act in a film to be directed by Gunasekhar. In this film, he is going to essay the role of Maratha icon Chhatrapati Shivaji. Earlier, Gunasekhar directed Mahesh in films like Okkadu, Arjun and Sainikudu.
If Mahesh really plays this role then sky is the limit for expectations. Mahesh who is tall and handsome will surely fit the role of Shivaji opines the film nagar sources.
Let’s wish this news becomes true and Mahesh plays this iconic character sometime soon.

Ram Charan Racha fights in China

Mega Power Star Ram Charan is ready to do Racha at box-office. The film is being directed by Sampath Nandi of Yemaindi Eevela fame. Paras Jain and NV Prasad are jointly producing the movie under Mega Supergood Films banner. Tamanna is romancing Charan for the first time in this film.

We have learnt that the crucial fight sequence of the film is going to be shot in a fantastic location. The location was scouted by none other than star director Shankar. The director actually planned to shoot his latest film Nanban in that beautiful location. The uniqueness of the location is that it looks beautiful covered with snow during winter. He couldn’t wait till winter and dropped the idea of shooting there.
Luckily, the unit of Racha came to know about the location and they have decided to shoot a fight sequence there, that too in snowfall. Stay tuned for more updates.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming Panjaa has completed its entire shooting part and currently the post production works of the film are in full swing. The film is produced by Shobhu Yarlagadda and Neelima Thirumalasetty. Vishnuvardhan is the director of the film. Sarah Jane Dias and Anjali Lavania are the female leads.

The official second trailer of the film is release yesterday and Pawan Kalyan looks amazing in the new one. The 34 seconds trailer starts with a message Power is rising. The background score by Yuvan Shankar Raja made everyone speechless. The expectations continued to scale new heights by the day.

Naga Chaitanya’s Bezawada to release on November 24

Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film Bezawada has got a new release date. The film was originally planned to release for Diwali; however it was later pushed to November. Few days ago, news broke out that the film will release on November 25 and now the latest update is that the film will release a day in advance on November 24.

Naga Chaitanya, Amala Paul and Prabhu are playing lead roles in this action drama. Vivek Krishna has directed the film and Kiran Kumar Koneru, RGV have produced it. The film is said to be inspired from real incidents about rowdyism which swept Vijayawada in 80s and 90s. The theatrical trailer of the film was launched recently and if it is any proof of what lies ahead, it certainly looks like Bezawada is going to extremely intense and violent.

 

Chetan Bhagat to attend It’s My Love Story’s premiere

Popular writer, Chetan Bhagat is going to attend the premiere of It’s My Love Story on November 9 in Hyderabad. Few days ago, Chetan Bhagat had spotted the poster of It’s My Love Story where the lead pair read one of Chetan Bhagat’s books – 3 Mistakes of My Life. When Chetan Bhagat tweeted about the poster, Madhura Sreedhar got in touch with him and invited him to attend the premiere of the film and the writer kindly obliged. Arvind Krishna and Nikitha Narayan are playing lead roles in this film which deals with live-in relationships and how it affects the couple. Madhura Sreedhar has directed the film and MVK Reddy has produced it on Shiridi Sai Combines. Sunil Kashyap has composed the music and PG Vinda is the cinematographer. The film is all set to hit the screens on November 11.

 

Oh My Friend Platinum Disc

The music album of Siddharth’s upcoming release ‘Oh My Friend’ has been setting the charts on fire and the movie is all set to release on 11.11.11. Rahul Raj has scored the music for this movie. The Platinum disc function will be held at Shri Chaitanya College in Kukatpally on November 5th.

The movie has Siddharth and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. Hansika and Navadeep are essaying important roles.

‘Oh My Friend’ has been directed by Venu Sriram on Dil Raju’s banner. The movie is a soft romantic love story and both Siddharth and Dil Raju are extremely confident about the movie’s chances at the Box Office.

Nagarjuna to buy Indian Racing League’s Hyderabad team?

Nagarjuna is all set to expand his horizon on the business front. He has his own restaurant and convention centre in Hyderabad and the actor is reportedly in talks with none other than Sachin Tendulkar for a mega venture. Machdar Motorsports which is owned by Anjana Reddy is organizing i1 Super Series, a sports car racing series, for the year 2011-12.

The races will be held in India, Malaysia, Qatar, Thailand and UAE. Interestingly Sachin Tendulkar is backing the series and if all goes well Nagarjuna might co-own the Hyderabad team. The talks are still in the preliminary stage but Nagarjuna told a leading news daily that he’s eagerly looking forward to the series although he refused to divulge any details. Being a sports car enthusiast himself, Nagarjuna said that it would be a dream come true if everything goes as per the plan.

 

Endhukante Premanta shooting update

Ram, Tamannaah starrer Endhukante Premanta is currently being shot in France. Recently some scenes were shot near Eiffel Tower, Paris and another song has been canned in this long foreign schedule. Currently an action sequence is being shot on Ram under the aegis of Peter Heins. A Karunakaran is directing the film and Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is producing the film.

The film was shot for a brief while in Hyderabad before the film unit flew to Geneva, Switzerland and then to Paris, France. GV Prakash is composing the tunes and I Andrew is the cinematographer. Kona Venkat has written the film’s script and he’s also playing a villain’s role in the film.

 

Allari Naresh, Swati’s Porali to be dubbed in Telugu

A Tamil film titled Porali is going to be dubbed in Telugu. Allari Naresh, Sasikumar and Swati are playing lead roles in the film. Samuthirakani, who had directed Shambo Shiva Shambo, is directing this film which is touted to be an action thriller. Allari Naresh had done a crucial role in Shambo Shiva Shambo and Samuthirakani was quite impressed with his acting skills and offered him the lead role in Porali. Most part of Porali was shot in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. K L Damodhar Prasad and Vedaraju Timber are jointly producing the Telugu version.

They had recently produced Allari Naresh, Sneha Ullal starrer Madatha Kaaja. Porali’s Telugu title hasn’t been confirmed yet and the producers stated that they would make a formal announcement about the film’s title and release date soon. Kathir is the cinematographer and Sundar C Babu has composed the music.

Tamil hero Simbu alias STR is known as the real life Casanova, Manmadhan etc. He had steamy affairs with most of his costars in the past. His affair with Nayanthara was a big sensation. Right now he is being linked to Richa Gangopadhyaya, his costar in the film Osthi.

Kollywood grapevine has it that Simbu is controlling the decisions and career moves of Richa in Tamil film industry. There is a wide spread rumor that he asked her to reject a film opposite Jeeva as he is a staunch rival of STR.
Richa is shocked to know such rumors being circulated about her. She says that she hasn't denied any Jeeva's offer. She also said that Simbu is not controlling her career moves and cleared that there is nothing brewing between them. Richa said that Simbu is just a costar and a good friend.

Mahesh Babu has a peculiar habit of stating that his films would end up as record breaking hits all the time. His predictions failed for Sainikudu, Athidhi and Khaleja. But Dookudu did prove to be the biggest hit in his career. He recently stated that The Businessman will be a landmark movie for him.

Taking a leaf out of his book, even Tapsee is predicting the final result of her films. She says that Mogudu will be a landmark film in her career. Tapsee is immensely confident of breaking in to the big league with this movie.
Tapsee did a role with different shades in Mogudu and director Krishna Vamsi compared her to legendary performer Nana Patekar! Tapsee expects audience to react in the similar fashion as she says that she has put blood into this character. None of her previous movies showed any glimpses of a great actor in her. Looks like Krishna Vamsi has pulled out a miracle in Mogudu!

Siddharth agrees to cut down his extras

Siddharth is one hero who has the habit of quoting an woofing remuneration for his every film despite delivering back-to-back duds at the Box Office. And his new film with director Nandini Reddy ('Ala Modalaindi' fame) is no exception.

Reportedly, the actor has quoted a staggering Rs 4 crore pay package to star in the film. However, producer Bellamkonda Suresh who is unhappy with the amount has chalked out plan to deal with it. After few talks, Sid has finally agreed to do the film with a fee of Rs 1.25 crores along with the overseas rights. With this move, Sid will loose atleast Rs 1 crore.
Even stars need to go for a reality check, which Siddharth failed to do so. Sid failed to score a single hit over the past few years. His previous films 'Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu', 'Baava' and '180' were duds and some even couldn't recover the print cost. Sid's market value dipped drastically but lookslike he never realised it. The industry needs some tough producers like Bellamkonda Suresh to keep check to actors like Sid. Let's hope Sid scores success with every film he does, to do justice to the pay check!!!

Kriti Replaces Colours Swathi!!

Reading the headline might sound confusing but here is the news. The stunning beauty Kriti Kharbanda is all set to step into the shoes of the big eyed Colors Swathi. Apparently, Swathi did an impact creating role in the Tamil movie Subramaniapuram which came as Ananthapuram 1980 in Telugu. Now, it is heard that Kriti has been roped in to reprise the role in the Kannada version. Kriti will also be seen in the new movie starring Nandamuri Kalyanram.

Deeksha Seth @ Chiranjeevi 150th film!!

Story:

This is the film about three friends and their different love stories.

1st one: Anand (Ajay) is a brilliant student but is confused about decision making. He takes one year off from his studies to decide about his next step. He falls in love with Archana (Yami), who is a neighbor of his. She is a great admirer of cricketer Vishnu and when Anand decides to express his love to Archana, he comes to know that she is in love with Vishnu.

2nd one: Raju (Prasad) is a violinist and comes to Hyderabad to pursue his career in film industry. He accidentally bumps into Rani (Ramya) whom he hates to the core. He feels that she brings bad luck to him. In one unavoidable situation they get married.

3rd one: Mahesh (Havish) dreams to become a famous male model. He breaks up with Madhavi (Sarayu) and she tries to teach him a lesson by pitching a gay Shailu (Haleem) against him. Mahesh’s life turns into a terrible mishap after that.

How all these stories end up is what this film is about.

Analysis:
Ravibabu is clear about the target audience for this film and he never tried to get away from that. He introduced the characters in a simple yet funny way and started to unfold their crazy/stupid love stories in an entertaining manner. Apart from stupidity there is also some sincerity in this comedy film and that angle is dealt well in the form of Ajay-Archana love story.

Despite being thoroughly entertaining the film does irritate a bit due to repetitive scenes and an overdose of adult (read gay) comedy. However, there are some truly hilarious scenes which will make you laugh like hell. First half is breezy and second half lags a bit in the middle. Climax is over the top but funny.

Nuvvila is a youthful film which will appeal to the target audience and enjoyed by the people who love to watch mindless comedies.

Performances:
Ravibabu’s biggest success in this film is getting the star cast right. Barring Radha Kumari and a couple of known faces, all others are newcomers and they did well to make the characters believable.

Prasad is a riot. He spells ‘sa’ as ‘la’ and all those scenes highlighting that weakness are good. Ramya complimented him well with a decent performance.

Havish is natural. His expressions and comedy timing are too good. Ajay is good but could’ve done better. His outburst in the climax scene didn’t come out as expected. On a whole he isn’t that bad.

Yami is beautiful and really angelic like the director portrayed her in the introduction scene. She is a very good actress too. Ravibabu is perfect. Rest of the cast did their best to keep up the spirit of the movie.

Ram Charan is bigger than Chiru ?

All these days there is an impression in general public and media circles about Ram Charan that he is just a guy who is growing under the shadow of his father Chiranjeevi. But the reality is something different and the actual story is Ram Charan's circle is beyond Chiru's reach.

Ram Charan's presence at Formula One Indian Grand Prix and Lady Gaga's show was a pleasant surprise to everyone. In fact, he was invited to the show by Sam Branson (son of UK based business tycoon Richard Branson of virgin racing) to support his racing team.
