It is the birthday of Telugu Film Industry’s most handsome and suave hero, Prince Mahesh Babu, as the dashing hero turns 37 today.Mahesh Babu’s fans across the state have already begun their celebrations in a big way. Blood donation, food distribution and other social service activities are expected to be taken up by the various Fans Associations today. Without a doubt, Mahesh Babu is one of the most handsome and talented actors to have ever hit the Telugu screen. The actor has already won 6 Nandi awards since 1999. The reclusive and media shy star usually prefers to maintain a low profile and is known to enjoy his privacy and family life.

Mahesh is currently in Hyderabad to wrap up the shoot for his upcoming film Dookudu. The movie has generated intense interest for its look and feel.The audio launch of the film is expected to happen on the 13th of this month and the movie is gearing up for release either in the last week of August or the first week of September. Dookudu, which has Mahesh and Samantha in the lead, is already reporting solid business across the state even before release and that should make this birthday extra special for the Prince.

Hema's 'Sexy Torture' To top Heroes

A director who has worked with Hema for many films stated “Hema dresses up in a ravishing saree, ties Mallepoolu and comes to events. There is nothing wrong in that. But things get difficult with the way she behaves with senior heroes. It is like as though she shows intimate relations with her body language.” He added “Whatever she may feel but heroes are feeling uncomfortable. Whether they have something with her or not, showing intimacy in public is not advisable. Since she is a senior in the industry, the big heroes are not saying it openly but they have conveyed their inconvenience in their own style. It is time Hema realizes what she is doing.”

Telugu Star hero Nagarjuna's son Naga Chaitanya has rubbished recent media reports claiming that he got engaged to actress Anushka secretly a few weeks ago. Earlier, reports said that the Naga Chaitanya-Anushka couple's engagement was a private ceremony attended by close friends and relatives.
"I do not know where these stories come from. Maybe you should be asking the people who create them. My engagement with Anushka? I do not know how it all started! Even I read it in the papers. Anyway, if I am getting married or engaged, I will call a press conference and announce it openly. I feel rumours like these are in bad taste," the actor said.

Upcoming actress Amala Paul, who played a school correspondent in Deiva Thirumagal(Nanna in Telugu), will be sharing screen space with Naga Chaitanya in his untitled Telugu film.
According to sources, Amala Paul has already been finalized to be the heroine in this proposed Naga Chaitanya starrer, but the makers are keeping it under the wraps until the final cast is announced. More details about the film are awaited.
Amala Paul, whose other popular films are Neelathamara (Malayalam) and Mynaa (Tamil), is currently busy with a couple of Tamil movies, including a romantic musical Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal.

Superstar Krishna hospitalized

According to reports, Krishna got admitted to Yashoda Hospitals at Somajiguda on complaints of severe spinal cord problems on Sunday evening. He is likely to get operated upon for the spine today or tomorrow. And he would be in the hospital for at least four or five days, sources said.

Krishna, who normally maintains perfect health and fitness, has never complained of any sickness. He is even contemplating returning to active politics by joining YSR Congress party. However, of late, he has not been keeping good health. After all, he is nearing 70 years! Krishna’s wife Vijayanirmala was on his bedside at the time of operation. Mahesh Babu is likely to cancel his shooting to return to Hyderabad to call on the father, sources said.

Abhishek was asked to build physique like Mahesh Babu

It is known that Puri is planning to do a bi-lingual film with Abhishek and Mahesh Babu and titled the film as  'The Businessman'. It is known that Abhishek is impressed with 'The Businessman' script and even ready to produce this film in his home production AB corp. However, the film will be made in Telugu first with superstar Mahesh Babu before it moves on floors with Abhishek Bachchan in Hindi.

In fact one reason why the Hindi version of Businessman has been delayed is to let Abhiskek Bachchan build a physique comparable with that of the Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu who plays the title role in the Telugu version of Businessman. When approached director Puri Jagannadh says, "We're starting the Telegu version of Businessman in September. It will be shot entirely in Mumbai. The Hindi version of the film starts next year. Beyond that I wouldn't want to reveal the plans we have for Abhishek."
