Ram Charan's forthcoming film 'Racha' is progressing at a brisk pace. The unit has recently completed a long schedule in Sri Lanka, where few vital scenes are canned on Ram Charan and Tamanna. This film will also have a remix song from Chiru's blockbuster flick 'Gand Leader'. Ram Charan, who is very excited about the film, says Racha will not disappoint his fans this time."Racha is an out-and-out commercial entertainer. It has everything - Comedy, Romance, Fights, Songs and Sentiment. It's like a full meal," said Ram Charan. Ram Charan's last outing 'Orange' turned out to be a dud at the box office. Telangana activists attacked Prince Mahesh Babu

On Sunday, the Telangana activists attacked Prince Mahesh Babu and smashed his car at the shooting of his latest film “Dookudu” at being shot at Anantagiri hills near Vikarabad in Ranga Reddy district.Enraged Telangana workers, protesting against the Centre’s delay on the on Telangana state formation, attacked the shooting of Mahesh Babu’s film. The agitators set on fire a special set erected exclusively for the film and when the shooting crew resisted the attack, they pelted stones at the sets, damaged cameras, lighting equipment and vehicles. In the process, Mahesh Babu’s car got damaged. The police took into custody four persons, while the other slogan shouting Telangana activists left the place.

Salman Khan hikes his price to 50 crores
After the recent success of his movies, Salman Khan has hiked his price to Rs 50 cores. The actor who was charging 40 crores for a movie will now take home a whopping amount of Rs 50 crores. Salman Khan has not only hiked his fees but also become very choosy when it comes to director. When he signs a film, he also gives suggestion of suitable directors to the makers.
“Salman is not only quoting a fee close to Rs 50 crore, he is also 'recommending' (Ready: appointing) directors for these films. Like, for the T Series project Salman has put forward the names of two directors and has asked producer Bhushan Kumar to choose from one of them. Furthermore, he insisted on Sonakshi Sinha for Kick and now he's recommending Zarine Khan to his prospective producers," a source told film expert Subhash K Jha. Filmmaker Bhushan Kumar confirms that Sallu has re-structured his fee, "When Salman bhai did Ready the film industry was facing a huge financial crunch. But he agreed to cut down his price from Rs 40 crore to Rs 17 crore. This was the only way we could have made Ready at that time. Now the market has changed for the entire film industry. So, we are currently re-negotiating with him for our next film."

Dhanush has recently announced that his wife, superstar Rajinikanth's elder daughter Aishwarya, will soon make her directorial debut. Being a great movie buff, Aishwarya usually accompanies Dhanush for all his shootings and has also assisted a few directors, including Dhanush's brother Selvaraghavan in his Karthi starrer Aayirathil Oruvan.For the past few months, she has been busy preparing the script. The music of director A.R. Murugadoss'7aam Arivu, which has Suriya and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles, will be launched in Chennai by the end of this month. The director is currently busy with the post production works. According to sources, Murugadoss is keen on releasing the film in August.
The story is said to revolve around a time machine which is brought to India by a scientist. The film is also being dubbed in Hindi and Telugu. 7aam Arivu is a sci-fi thriller in which Suriya plays a triple role: a circus artist, Buddhist monk and a scientist. 'Businessman' wants Kajal!!

By this we are not talking about the film ‘The Businessman’. This is about a rather unusual experience that Kajal Agarwal had recently. Apparently, the pretty girl has been riding high with the success of her Bollywood venture ‘Singham’ and sources say she was approached by a businessman wanting to produce a film with her. After several rounds of requests and calls, the businessman finally got to meet Kajal and he gave the narration of a story. It is heard that Kajal turned it down and wanted something different. At this, the businessman reportedly insisted on Kajal taking an advance with an assurance that he would come back with a better script.Due to his persuasion, Kajal reportedly took the advance cheque of Rs 3 lakhs. However, the man went missing for 3-4 days and when Kajal’s manager called him, the answer took them aback. This businessman revealed he was actually an ardent fan of Kajal and since he didn’t know any other way of meeting her, he took this route. As for the cheque, Kajal has not encashed it but she was heard saying that the total experience had amused her though it was a bit unnerving. She also revealed how the man was showering praises on her when they met which flattered her to an extent.
Is Charmee Promoting Devi to Bollywood
Though he has not done anything to promote her in Tollywood or Kollywood, it is heard that Charmee is doing everything possible to promote her ‘dear’ friend Devi Sri Prasad in Bollywood. After making her debut with ‘Bbuddah..’ in Bollywood, Charmee is currently camping in Mumbai trying for a second offer in her own style.Meanwhile, it is known that the song ‘Ringa Ringa..’ was used in the Bollywood blockbuster ‘Ready’ starring Salman Khan- Asin. Taking this as the cue, it is heard that Charmee is trying for a chance to herself and simultaneously promoting Devi Sri. News is that by getting him a break in Bollywood, Charmee is hoping that she can get Devi Sri back to her side and maybe get the knot tied since he has been distancing himself from her lately.
Prabhas all set to Rock in Rebel
Actor Prabhas is doing a lots of homework for his yet-to-be-launched film, Rebel. The film will be his next release and it is probably for the first time that the actor is giving a gap of nearly 8 months between two films (Mr. Perfect was released in June). The actor is confident that Rebel is a kind of film which will work wonders for him, sources say. The handsome hunk is pairing up with Anushka Shetty. Deeksha Seth is another girl who will be seen playing the second heroine.After Kanchana, Lawrence Raghava is directing Rebel with renewed vigour. It may be said that after so many offbeat films in all these years, Lawrence will be seen doing a really big-ticket commercial entertainer with a top class actor like Prabhas in the lead. The film's subject is rumouredly very hatke in nature too. Krishnam Raju will be seen in a significant character role in the film. Though some versions of the film's story did the rounds recently, it is said that they are concocted and have got nothing to do with Rebel.
Suhasini as Pawan Kalyan’s mother!
Power star Pawan Kalyan’s new project titled "Gabbar Singh" is going to hit the floors soon after completion of Pawan’s current project tentatively titled Kaali. Now the latest news is that Yester year heroine and actress Suhasini Maniratnam has been roped to play the mother role to Pawan Kalyan in “Gabbar Singh”. Presently the movie pre production works are going on. Gabbar Singh is a remake of Bollywood’s super hit film Dabangg. In Hindi version Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha played the lead roles. In Telugu version gorgeous beauty Sruthi Hassan has been roped for the female lead role opposite to Power star.
Gabbar Singh will be directed by Harish Shankar, as per the sources director Harish Shankar has changed the original script to suit the Telugu nativity. The film will be produced by actor turned producer Ganesh Babu on Parameshwara Arts Banner. Devisri Prasad will score the music. Gabbar Singh is expected to hit the screens for Sankarnthi festival in 2012.

Bejawada Rowdeelu in High Court!
Now the latest news is that Gowtham Reddy, an advocate filed a petition in the High Court seeking the court to intervene in the issue and make the filmmaker to change the title of the movie from Bezawada Rowdeelu .The court has asked the censor board’s legal counsel to go through on this the matter and submit its report to the court within a week. Now we have to wait and to see the court’s decision on this movie title. Bejawada Rowdeelu is being directed by a debutant, Vivek Krishna, who also an associate of RGV. Ram Gopal Varma and Kiran Kumar Koneru are jointly producing the film on Shreya Productions banner. Vanditha Koneru is presenting it.
Bollywood offer for Allu Arjun!
Now the latest buzz in the film nagar is that Stylish star Allu Arjun is soon going to debut in Bollywood with a romantic entertainer film under the leading production house. Presently Allu Arjun is busy in Tollywood with handful of projects, even though he is keen to work in a Bollywood film. The rumors doing the rounds Allu Arjun has got the offer from prestigious Yash Raj Films banner to play a lead role in their upcoming Bollywood film. As per the sources the bosses of Yash Raj Films has also invited Allu Arjun for talks related to that film and the actor is going to meet them soon.Allu Arjun is popular in South Indian film industry and now getting the offer in Bollywood that too with an YRF project will be a big offer for Arjun and we are not surprised to hear he is keen to do it. But few sources say that he already refused that offer due to his commitments in Tollywood. Any way we have to wait for the official confirmation from the actor regarding this offer.
Allu Arjun- Trivikram’s film starts from Sep 7th
After Badrinath, Stylish star Allu Arjun’s new project under the direction of writer turned director Trivikram Srinivas is finally going on to sets from September 7th onwards. This date has been fixed by the film makers after had discussion with the Allu Arjun, who is back in Hyderabad now from his personal tour.
We heard earlier that Samantha and Ileana names are under consideration for the female lead role opposite to Allu Arjun in the film. Now it seems that Ileana has confirmed as heroine for the film. As per the reports Ileana will also join the shoot on September 7th.The movie will be produced by D.V.V.Danaiah on Universal Media Banner. Music director Devisri Prasad will score the music for this flick. Earlier we also heard that title of the film will be Honey, but now movie makers are saying that title of the film is not yet fixed. Dusky beauty Bindhu Madhavi plays a bold character for the first time ever in her film career. She is portraying the role of a commercial sex-worker in the film 'Sega'. It's true that Bindhu Madhavi's role in the film forced the censor board to award an 'A' certificate. It's a common phenomenon in film industry that people choose unconventional ways to regain their prime position. With her career in slump, Bindhu Madhavi has decided to try something different to prove her mettle. She is doing the same, what her predecessors Tabu('Chandini Bar') and Kareena('Chameli') has done in the past. It is said that the scenes of Bindhu Madhavi as sex worker are shoot in aesthetic manner. The movie is a realistic portrayal of darker aspect of the city.The hottest pair, Nani and Nithya Menon are playing the lead roles in the film. The film is being directed by Anjana Ali Khan, a protegee of Director Gautham Menon. Gautham Menon is producing the film on his banner 'Photon Kathaas'. Nagarjuna Waited 2 Hours For Rajamouli's Call
Apparently, Nag’s belief is that with Chaitu getting polished under the tough taskmaster, his range will grow into the top league. Recently, it is heard that Nag called up Rajamouli to discuss about a possible project. Sources say Nag waited for two hours to receive Rajamouli’s call. Finally, Rajamouli called and said no. The director reportedly stated that his diary is full till 2014 due to various film assignments and other obligations. However, it is heard that Nag is determined to have Rajamouli for Chaitu within the next year or so. But then, that’s how Rajamouli’s demand is. So let us see what happens.
Dasari Declares War On Young Hero
Lately, it is being noticed that veteran Dasari Narayana Rao is not losing a single opportunity to give a piece of his mind to today’s stars. On the other hand, hero Siddarth has not made amends to his ways of picking up fights with the media or rolling out derogatory statements. Now, the paths of both have crossed. It is heard that Dasari has decided to involve in the controversy wherein Sidz tweeted on electronic media few weeks back. The comment read - "3rd grade 'N'ews channels will sell their families to make up an hour of TV. Clarifying their garbage & lies is not worth our time. Ignore!". This didn’t go sweetly with the Film Newscasters Association of Electronic Media (FNAEM). Apparently, they complained to Movie Artists Association (MAA) but then it is heard that the MAA president Murali Mohan downplayed it saying it was not specific towards Telugu media. Even a letter sent to producers council and to Dil Raju who is doing a film with Sidz yielded no results, as per sources. 
So now, the FNAEM has approached Dasari and it is heard that the Darsakaratna is quite serious. He has reportedly spoken to Murali Mohan and demanded an apology from Siddarth. Sources also say Dasari spoke very strictly with Dil Raju and warned that if Sidz doesn’t apologise, he will make it a national issue. Dasari reportedly indicated that if the statement was not meant for Telugu media then it is insulting the National media. The industry folks say that if Siddarth doesn’t wake up and reacts atleast now, he is sure to face trouble in the future and also his career. There is also a talk that the FNAEM is planning to approach the Human Rights Commission regarding this. Let us see what happens.Saloni under severe torture
