Celebrated Tamil director Lingu Swamy is a big fan of Mahesh Babu. He tried to make a film with Mahesh many a time, but was not entertained by Mahesh for unknown reasons. Despite of his star status in Tamil cinema, Linguswamy constantly met Mahesh to get a nod from him. However, Mahesh was reluctant to work with Tamil directors.
Lingu Swamy has reportedly written a script keeping Mahesh Babu in mind. Superstar didn't even bother to hear that script till now. Disappointed Lingu Swamy approached Ram Charan with the same storyline and the mega power star showed keen interest to work with him.
