Did Ramcharan @ really win on Mahesh and NTR?

Ram Charan Tej, Tamanna starrer Racha which was released in a grand manner 2 days back failed to impress critics and many of the audience except some hard core followers of mega family. The movie received average and in fact many below average reviews. But the producer of Racha is quick to clarify to press and media that Racha has crossed all the opening day records.
Producer NV Prasad conducted a special press conference to announce that Racha has received the highest opening ever in Telugu cinema. "I am very pleased to announce that "Racha" has created history, breaking all records for the first day collections in Telugu cinema ranking in a share of of Rs 8.54 Crore only in AP. It just goes to show the star power of Ram Charan," said NV Prasad. He alos told that Racha crossed Business Man and Oosaravelli first day collections in AndhraPradesh, the overseas collections records are not out yet. Everybody wondering if RamCharan has started the game of collections, it's known to everybody how Allu Aravind hyped Badrinath collections.

While the producer is making too much hungama about the collections many are surprised as to why the producer is in a hurry to talk abut the collections with just 2 days after the release of the movie. Though his numbers are looking close to reality, it's to be seen what will be their strategy going forward. Collections on Day one don't mean that movie has become a hit. Oosaravelli had more collections than Dookudu on first day, but it turned out to be an average movie. The movie can only be judged to be hit if it sustains an extended run with housefuls. Dookudu did that in style with houseful upto 50 days. Mega family made lot of hue and cry over Dookudu that content is important not collections. Why don't they apply the same thing to Racha? Only audience will decide whether the movie is hit, let us wait for at least two weeks before making any conclusions.
