To those who originally hail from Hyderabad this might sound familiar. Apparently, during the olden days of Hyderabad, not many used to show interest in watching films. Telugus are ok but others like the Parsis and Maharashtrians those who are settled in Hyderabad didn’t show that kind of interest.
However, things changed from the time of ‘Geetanjali’ and ‘Shiva’. The Maharashtrians, Parsis and other north Indians started to come and watch the Telugu films. Eventually patronization has increased. Now it is heard that for films of Mahesh Babu, Siddarth and Ram Charan they are coming.
But this is not the case for Junior NTR. Apparently, the three stars are enjoying the patronage of the non-Telugu settlers. Apart from the trio, if there is a big budget flick like ‘Arundhati’ or ‘Kochadaiyaan’ coming then they are coming to see. That way, it is heard that there is a lot of demand for Mahesh Babu among the Parsis and Maharashtrian communities.
