The reason is Vijay's mass appeal in attracting family crowds to Cinema Halls adds inside circles. Thuppaki has Vijay and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles and the film is slated for a mid summer or diwali release.
Also it is a known fact that the same Gemini Film Circuit is the one who produced Vijay's recent blockbuster Nanban.
