Pawan Kalyan finds fault with our producers cribbing about Tamil cinema invasion in Tollywood. He says that this shows our ‘inability’ to compete with them. He believes that our producers never tried to penetrate into Tamil market.
“When good films are made and dubbed in Tamil, they have really clicked. Shiva, Geetanjali and Ankusham were big hits in Tamil too. Later our producers always tried to sell off remake rights and stopped exploring that market. Whereas Tamil film people have the penetrating ability and they were able to capture our market,” Pawan said.
He quoted Magadheera movie and told that if that film was made in Tamil, it would certainly had a great run in Telugu too. Delaying that movie’s release in Tamil didn’t make any sense to him, he told.
