Advent of Chiranjeevi into Politics leaving film industry has apparently created the vacancy for No.1 chair in Tollywood. There are numerous names revolving in entire Andhra Pradesh with hot discussions going around for whom to be declared as the next No.1. Dedicated Fan bases for every celebrity family made the situation much more turbulent. Whether Mega or Nandamuri or Ghattamaneni…Hero from which family has the worth to replace Chiranjeevi? ‘Tollywood is populated with so many talented young heroes and fight to reach the top is still going on. May be, we have to rent this No. 1 Seat on seasonal basis. If Ramcharan attempted on it for the first with ‘Magadheera,’ other heroes like mahesh babu is leading the race today with ‘Dookudu’ and Junior NTR with ‘Oosaravelli.’ Consistency is the key which none of our heroes seems to have learnt. If ‘Businessman’ rocks more than ‘Dookudu’ added with other heroes falling back in the contest, may be we get a clear winner in mahesh babu based on instantaneous calculations and projections. Let us see as 2012 will become so crucial,’ said a senior film analyst.
Junior NTR Dammu is left in dilemma with Shruti Hassan walking out of the project citing call sheet problems. Shruti Hassan was zeroed in for NTR, Boyapati Srinu film Dammu long back and she had even shot few scenes for the film. Then why did she walk out of the project?
Shruti Hassan's dates given for Dammu have gone wasted as NTR wasn't available at that time. NTR Junior gave away the dates given for Dammu to Oosaravelli to ensure its release for Dussera. Hence, Shruti Haasan's dates were wasted and now she is busy with other assignments and couldn't give bulk dates for Dammu.
Shruti tried her best to not to walk out of Dammu, but the packed schedules planned for this film in the next few months, didn't help the cause. Shruti is right now busy with Gabbar Singh and Tamil movie 3 and therefore wished Dammu team good luck and walked out. Now the team of Dammu have to find a suitable heroine and it will surely take some time as all the top rated heroines are busy at the moment.
Ileana, the hourglass beauty, who was in news for wrong reasons in the recent past is now waiting for her biggest South Indian film, Nanban (3 Idiots remake) to release to regain her position. Ileana is doing the female lead in this film directed by Shankar in which she is paired up with Vijay. This movie is going to have simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil for Pongal. Ileana has been on the top in Tollywood for almost five years, but she is facing severe competition from Samantha, Kajal and Tamanna at the moment. She is not 'fresh' anymore as our audience always craves for change, especially with heroines. Ileana is aware of this and she is trying to look young and fresh to compete with the new stars.
She has been working out vigorously to look at her slimmest best which seems to have affected her physique. Ileana who was at her voluptuous best in the films like Kick and Jalsa, is looking skinny and ultra lean in Nanban. This lean look didn't do any good to the actress and the onlookers say that it is giving an aged look to her. Hope Ileana puts on some kilos before it is too late.
