Jr NTR's 'Double Meaning' Title 'Dammu'

When it comes to finalizing the title of a film, a lot of attention, research and detail is gone through. And all the efforts double if it is the film of a superstar. However, it appears that the efforts of one team seem to be raising the eyebrows of many and the reason for that is the title.

We are talking about the camp of Boyapati Seenu and the title of his new movie 'Dammu'. Well, many of them are commenting that though it means courage in one way, it also means breathlessness, panting etc in other ways. They are suggesting this is more like a double meaning title. But there is a rationalist group which says "Dammu is an apt title. It brings convenience for the audience. If the film is a hit, then they will say it showed its 'Dammu'. If the film is a flop then they will say it lost its 'Dammu'." With so many mixed versions and talks happening, perhaps it is time for the team of 'Dammu' to work on the title.

Dookudu Races past 40 Crores share

Prince Mahesh Babu’s high voltage action and comedy entertainer Dookudu has raced past the 40 Crore mark in terms of total worldwide revenue share. This is now the second highest grossing movie of all time in the history of the Telugu Film Industry and only Madadheera stands above it now.

The movie has been turning in a storming Box Office performance in all parts of the world and it has been smashing records with ease. Prince Mahesh Babu’s stylish looks coupled with his Telangana dialect and some superb comedy from Brahmanandam and M.S.Narayana are major assets for this movie. Dookudu is the most expensive movie in Prince Mahesh Babu’s career but its performance has now justified the expense.

Samantha is the heroine in this film and Srinu Vytla has directed this film. Thaman has scored the music. The total worldwide share for the movie in the long run is expected to cross 50 crores. Only time will tell if Dookudu will be able to cross Magadheera’s record but it sure is one terrific blockbuster in Mahesh Babu’s kitty.
