Dookudu unbelievable 7-days gross @ 50.07 Cr

As expected, Mahesh Babu's Dookudu has romped home the biggest BO gross and share in its first week.  Pegged at Rs. 50.07 cr. of gross (Rs. 35.01 is the share), the film's all-time huge record has become a non-pareil in the history of Telugu cinema.  More over, very few South Indian films, other than those starring Rajinikanth, have managed to net this huge total in the first few days of their release.

A press release from the makers stated that the film has been setting new records in all the States where it was released on September 23.  While the film has grossed the highest in hot Telugu cinema markets in Andhra Pradesh, bulldozing its way through the records earlier set by Magadheera, it has had a windfall of collections in the US market, and in the Indian States like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and others.

Ravi Teja 'Srungara Deeksha'

Usually, second heroines are unsuccessful in winning the hearts of heroes. They have one or two special spicy songs with the hero and when the main heroine is not there, they give company to hero and leave. But this is not the case with Deeksha Seth. While working for ‘Mirapakaya’ as the second heroine, by the time shooting got completed, Deeksha stole the heart of Ravi Teja fully. As a result, Ravi Teja made it a point to have Deeksha as his heroine for the new film ‘Nippu’ being directed by Gunasekhar and produced by Y V S Chowdary.

It is known news that Ravi Teja gives chances only to those heroines who cooperate with him in ‘all’ ways. But unit members of ‘Nippu’ reveal that in Deeksha’s case, Ravi Teja is showing extra interest and is ‘enjoying’ the company of Deeksha completely.  They are calling it ‘Ravi Teja Srungara Deeksha’.

Parvathy’s ‘Tapassu’ became successful

The one name which has become a hot topic of discussion in the film nagar area is Parvathy Melton. Fondly called as the Red Wine Beauty, Parvathy has scorched the screens with her latest item song ‘Poovai poovai…’ in the raging hit ‘Dookudu’. Now, another topic is making rounds about her. The cine folks say “Atlast, Parvathy’s ‘Tapassu’ became successful. Poor girl…she was promised the lead role in ‘Khaleja’ opposite Mahesh Babu. That’s when director Trivikram told her to cut down on her weight and look slim. Parvathy did that sincerely but she got cut from the movie. Of course, she immediately left India to come out of that upsetting experience.” 


They added “But her desire to romance Mahesh Babu got fulfilled and in a better way. She has been maintaining the same slim figure that she developed for ‘Khaleja’ and showed her curves in ‘Dookudu’. Also, she got to pair with Mahesh. Imagine what would have happened if she was the heroine in ‘Khaleja’. The film became a dud and her career would have been in doldrums. But now, Parvathy has bounced back with a bang and her ‘Tapassu’ really paid off.”

Bollywood Beauty Bipasha Basu rubbished reports claiming of her plans that she and her ‘Dum Maro Dum’ co-star Rana Daggubati are going to marry soon. Reacting to the rumors of her wedding plans, Bipasha Basu posted on twitter, “Reading reports of my supposed wedding plans, there is absolutely no truth in them.”

Shruti haasan does not believe in size zero. She says that she is not at all worried about her figure as she thinks that it is just right. Sruthi is very clear in her mind that she will never go in for a size zero figure even if it means that losing out on film offers.

Ramcharan's childish mentality
