Asin-Priyanka-Deepika @ in race for 2 States

2 States movie is in news again. Imran Khan will be playing the lead role in this film which is inspired from Chetan Bhagat’s novel by the same name. Sajidd Nadiadwala is planning to make this film and currently the search is on for a suitable heroine.
If the buzz is to be believed, Asin, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone are in race to bag 2 States film. All the three have good relation with Sajid and are likely to bag the offer. The film is about the love story between Punjabi boy and South Indian girl.
So Asin and Deepika would be in contention as they suit the role due to their southern roots. Asin has vast experience of doing more south films and hence she might be leading the race. Watch out for official confirmation on this.

Also fans where left out confused with the release dates as June 8th/15th/22nd and it have affected the expectation on the films meter it seems.

They feel that what Venkat Prabhu attracted with Mankatha promotions, has been let down byChakri Toleti.

Mahesh Babu is acting as a main lead in the movie under Sukamr direction has completed its fresh schedule in Saradhi Studios, Hyderabad. Police station episodes have been completed in this schedule and the unit is going to shoot its next schedule from last week of this month as Mahesh is contributing his dates for 'Seetamma Vakitlo Siremalle Chettu' from June 13. This movie is being produced by Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under 14 Reels Entertainments banner and Kajal Agarwal is acting as the female lead in the movie music is by Devi Sri Prasad. Ratnavel is the cinematographer and Editing by Marthand K Venkatesh. This movie is touted to be a romantic action entertainer which is expected to be released for Pongal 2013.

Prabhas @ looking for a Powerful title

Prabhas’s last movie Mr. Perfect was released in April 2011. He hasn’t been seen in action for more than a year. His next release Rebel will only be out in August as per the news reports. He is also simultaneously doing another film under Koratala Siva direction. Tentatively titled Varadhi, this film is likely to release for next Pongal. Although media circles have been calling this film as Varadhi, the unit members say that it is just a working title. They have been looking for a powerful title that will appeal to mass audience. As of now Varadhi is only a working title. We will get to know the original title shortly. Anushka and Richa Gangopadhyaya are playing the female leads in this film. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for this movie.

Allu Arjun @ Injured Again!!

Though a film’s duration is for two plus hours a lot of efforts and hardwork goes behind it and even the heroes of the film are no exception. And for stars who have to please their fans, they have to put their skin out to ensure that they deliver the best. And that comes with a price quite often.
We are talking about Allu Arjun and the news is that he hurt his back yet again. Sources say this happened during the song shooting of his upcoming movie ‘Julaayi’. Buzz is that he was pumped up to perform a difficult move composed by Jaani master and ended up hurting his back badly.
However, unit members reveal that Bunny kept the pain aside and reported within a week to complete the shooting. Already, he has a history of hurting himself during the shooting of ‘Arya’ and ‘Badrinath’. He also underwent a shoulder surgery in Australia which kept him out of action for quite a while.
Sources say the song from ‘Julaayi’ was being made with a budget of Rs 65 lakhs and his prompt dedication saved the day for the producers.

Balakrishna’s recent Telugu movie Adhinayakudu, which released world wide on June 1, has reportedly done good business at the Box Office in India. According to trade experts, the Paruchuri Murali directed movie has raked in more than Rs 20.5 crores at the collection centres in first weekend. Adhinayakudu opened to a very good response on Friday with its occupancy ranging between 70% to 100% in single screens and 50% to 75% in multiplexes across the country. The movie collected approximately Rs 7.2 crores at the Box Office on the first day of its release

When other film industries in the country are showing their distinctness with some applauded art-flicks, Tollywood is still falling behind. Our directors are still sleeping in the same old cocoon to take our industry back to 20 years.
Each filmmaker is only having Commercial-Feelings for his subject and this is taking its toll on the Creative-Values of final output. We are not coming out of Racha, Dammu and Gabbar Singh to showcase our versatile film making talent. On the other hand Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam circuits are plunging ahead with art-movies that are successful at Box Office. Is it lack of Creative talent or a feeling that only Commercial-movies will work at Box Office, which is pulling the leg of our directors is something to be known. 'There is no scope for sentiment and artistic subjects these days. Only comedy and glamour are doing well with audiences', says ace producer Ramanaidu. 
But, critics are saying that directors are not coming up with stunning scripts to enthral audiences. They say that Tollywood is depending on comedy and glamour to score hits, but not audience, as they like all kinds of movies.
