Hit or Flop @ Dammu Vs Gabbar Singh!!

After Ram Charan's 'Racha', these two are the big movies in list that can shake the summer Box Office of Tollywood. With days inching for their release, here is a spotlight on the two sides of 'Dammu' and 'Gabbar Singh'.
Dammu: After scoring two flops last year, Jr.NTR is coming out with an out and out mass masala movie this time. Already, songs and trailers have brought the required craze for this movie though they don't look crazy. However, Trade pundits say that a mass hero doing regular masala stuff under the direction of another mass-director will have all the chances of becoming hit or flop. With NTR all over the trailers, one cannot expect how Trisha and Karthika sizzled on the screen.
Plus Points: Jr.NTR, Boyapati Sreenu, Dialogues and Dances
Gabbar Singh: Pawan Kalyan's fans are waiting from a long time for a hit that can last decades. Songs and teasers of the movie are rocking with high octane energy of Pawan. The generally silent and soft Pawan, if delivers a punch dialogue and performs mass-steps for crazy beats, one can expect the fate of that movie easily. Other than heroine Shruti Hassan, all other technicians are highly proved ones in terms of giving commercial hits.
Plus Points: Pawan Kalyan, Devi Sri Prasad's music and punch dialogues.
One has to wait for these two movies to hit screens for knowing the actual fate of 'Dammu' and 'Gabbar Singh' anyway.

Review @ Neeku Naaku Dash Dash Movie!!

Movie : Neeku Naaku Dash Dash
Rating:
2.5/5
Cast :
Prince, Nandita, Teertha and others
Directed by :
Teja
Produced by :
Anand Prasad
Banner :
Bhavya Creations
Music :
Yashwanth Nag
Release Date :
2012-04-13
Director Teja was one of the biggest brand names in Tollywood a decade ago. But a series of flop products damaged his reputation as the director and he was forced to take a break from filmmaking after disastrous Keka. He is back again with Neeku Naaku Dash Dash, which is also the same old Teja's tree in new forest! After taking a very big break Teja believed that his old formula should work again and made an attempt. Let's see how it is...
What is it about?
Shiva (Prince) and Gayathri (Nandita) are workers at a yard that makes cheap liquor. They fall in love with each other. Falling in love is completely prohibited in that business and that puts the couple in trouble. Added to that Shiva steals crores of money from the liquor mafia goons for a reason. So the chase is on and like in every Teja's film the couple runs in to the forest and what happens next is left to your imagination.
Performances:

Prince is an okay looking guy. He did an Okay job as an actor. Nandita is good as rebellious Gayatri. She dominated the hero in every frame. She has cute looks. Teertha is fine as the baddie. Director failed to etch her character in a proper way. Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao is good. Suman Setty is usual. Venu is Okay. The bald headed villain didn't look powerful enough.
On the Technical Front:
Yashwant Nag's music is passable. "Maa orri dash gadu" song is catchy and entertaining. Background score was done by Anup Rubens and he did a pretty decent job. Rasool's cinematography is an asset. Teja himself being a cinematographer, his films always have good visuals. Editing is alright. Dialogues are not up to the mark.
As a director Teja did an average job. There were few instances where he showed few sparks from his brilliant past, but on a whole he is yet to get into form. Teja should have come up with a better story and screenplay after taking a big gap. Instead he tried to play it safe. He doesn't have that extraordinary story narrating skills anymore. Those intelligent scenes which used to arrest the audiences are completely missing.
Analysis:
Neeku Naaku Dash Dash is a casual film with routine script. It doesn't have the elements to make the audiences involved in the film. There are many boring moments in the film. First half is pretty mediocre. Second half is slightly better with story moving to lush green locales.
There are many ups and downs throughout the film. First half an hour and last half an hour are the biggest drawbacks. It is better in the remaining part but not good enough to impress the audience. The film is likely to leave a below average to average impression.
Teja's trademark element that made his films successful has been missing in this one. Lack of powerful villain made the climax part very weak. There are shades of Shopping Mall movie in the backdrop. Enough home work is not done and hence NNDD ended up as a half baked product.
Although made at a low budget, the film will have to struggle hard to get back the investments amidst the tough competition.
Verdict: Teja is still in 'Jayam' mode!

Unbeatable @ Sexy Friend Of Nagarjuna!!

Time and again Nagarjuna and his charms among women have been discussed but then due credit must be given to his circle of lady friends too. One among them is Tabu and though she has passed her prime, till date, she is still the unbeatable sexy friend of this handsome and suave Telugu superstar.
Recently Tabu was seen during the ANR felicitation function and she grabbed quite a bit of attention. She was beautiful in yellow saree and many thought she looked stunning. Tabu also hugged ANR which goes to show how close she is to the Akkineni family.
It is heard that Naga Chaitanya used to stay at Tabu’s home when he was in Mumbai. And here is the best part, Amala was seen talking to her closely and affectionately. In a way many men felt jealous the way Amala has been mixing freely with Nag’s close and sexy friend. All in all, it was Tabu’s magic that evening.

Ram's @ double dhamaka for fans!!

Energetic hero Ram is all set to work on two films simultaneously. One film happens to be with 'Bommarillu' Bhaskar, the other one is with Santosh Srinivas (Kandireega fame).
Ram will be working again in the direction of Santosh Srinivas and the muhurat for the film has been done on April 12 at the Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad. Putting an end to the speculation, the unit members has clarified that this film is not sequel to Ram-Santosh Srinivas previous hit 'Kandireega'. However, few members of the cast & crew of 'Kandireega' will be roped in for this film. Latest sensation SS Thaman will be composing music and Bellamkonda Suresh would be producing the film.
Ram is gonna shoot for Bhaskar and Santosh Srinivas film simultaneously. On the other hand, his upcoming film 'Endukante Premanta' will hit the screens on May 11. If everything falls in place, atleast two of his film will be released in this year. So, It's a double dhamaka for his fans!

Samantha @ reveals truth about Rumors!!

Just sometime back it was revealed that the lovely smile beauty Samantha is all set to surprise her fans and audience by crooning for a song in the Tamil film Neethane En Ponvasantham. Before anyone could relish this whole exciting thing, Samantha has now come into the open and revealed the truth.
Apparently, the pretty starlet has quashed this as baseless rumour. She has mentioned about it in her Twitter account that this is not true. The film is being directed by the maverick Gautham Menon and it is trilingual wherein Samantha is the heroine in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi versions.
She is pairing up with the natural talent Nani in the lead and this would be the second film with him after the graphical extravaganza 'Eega'. For now, it looks like Samantha is not in any mood to sing so it could be a while before that can happen. Maybe she should look for dubbing in her own voice.

Gabbar Singh @ Audio Release Poster!!

Racha Just Trailer @ Gabbarsingh will show Movie!!

Ram Charan's Racha has been doing exceptional business all over. There is no noticeable drop in collections even after seven days. The film is running to packed houses despite being released in many theaters. Mega fans are extremely happy with Racha's success and they are now eagerly waiting to watch Gabbar Singh's Racha at BO.
When Ram Charan's average movie can do these many wonders with a wide release, what can Pawan's film do with a good talk? This is the hottest discussion topic among the Tollywood lovers. None of Pawan's movies received good positive talk on the first day in the last decade. Even then Pawan's craze has been multiplied irrespective of his films performance.
Even other heroes fans agree that Pawan has immense craze and all he needs is a decent talk to pull off a blockbuster. Gabbar Singh looks more than promising in that aspect. Hence, fans are confidently saying that Racha is just a trailer and Gabbar Singh will show the real movie to one and all.

Audio Talk @ Gabbar Singh!!

With the release date of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's 'Gabbar Singh' audio approaching fast, here is a pep talk about the songs.
'Gabbar Singh' album, scored by talented music director Devi Sri Prasad is loaded with six fully energetic songs. Notably there are two melodies in GS that takes your imagination to a romantic level. 'Dil Se Dil Se Ne Voohallo' and 'Aakasam Ammayaithe nee la vuntundey' sets a base for perfect love story in this action entertainer. A song 'Gannu lanti kannulunna junnu laanti pilla..' can be understood as the one in which Pawan teases ultra hot Shruti Hasan.
Coming to the heroic part of the film, 'Dekho Dekho Gabbar Singh.. All India Ki Hyper Singh' is the title track of the movie that sets fire in front benchers for its sharp flattery that raises heroism. There is another song in the movie devoted to all drinkers, 'mandu baabulam memu mandu baabulam'. The song is sung by none other than legendary character artist Kota Srinviasarao.
Finally there comes this 'Kevvu Keka' song, in which famous 'Munni' bomb Malaika Arora is shaking her curves with Powerstar. The fast beat and double meaning lyrics are a treat for fans, with the tag 'Kevvu Keka' raising heat. All songs are a hyper treat for fans in this hot summer. Watch out for our audio review soon!
