Chennai Rhinos led by Vishal emerged the champions of the second edition of the Celebrity Cricket League. In the finals played at Hyderabad on Sunday, the team scored a thrilling two ruin victory over Karnataka Bulldozers.
Batting first, Chennai posted 161 run in 20 over’s thanks to splendid 95 runs by Vikranth. In replay though Karnataka lost three quick wickets, Dhruv and Karthik scored quick runs. When Chennai was considered out, a splendid last over by Vikranth helped Chennai emerge winners.

Remuneration which jackie chan is offered for working on this tentatively titled ‘Thalaivan Irukkindraan’ is something around Rs.40 Crores and total budget of the film is Rs.200 Crores which Kamal himself will be directing. Movie will be released in Tamil, English, Telugu and other European languages.

Balakrishna's Adhinayakudu movie has hit roadblock due to financial problems and the film to see light seems highly unlikely for the moment. Producer ML Kumar Chowdary ran into deep financial trouble and at least 10 crore rupees are needed to bail this film out.
Kumar Chowdary made this film when he is already in big soup. He expected this film to get instant craze following Simha. Sadly, that didn't happen. With Parama Veera Chakra and Sri Rama Rajyam biting dust at the box office, prospects of Adhinayakudu have further dimmed as there is neither a star director nor crazy heroine in it.
Kumar Chowdary lost every penny spent on his previous film Bava and all the money that he has spent on Adhinayakudu has been stuck for a while. Sources say that Chowdary isn't getting help from industry circles and Balakrishna is not in a mood to bail him out. So Adhinayakudu will need a miracle to see light. After all 10 crore rupees isn't a joke, is it?
After taking over the reins of news channel Studio N from Nara Lokesh, Jr NTR came up with a plan to launch an entertainment channel. But looking at the developments, Young Tiger might call off his plans. Junior expressed the same thing with his close coterie saying it's not a good idea to launch a new channel, when the existing channel is in doldrums.
As part of the cost cutting measures, Jr NTR's successfully managed to bring down the monthly budget of the Studio N channel from Rs 1 crore to Rs 50 lakhs. Except on a couple of occasions (NTR-Lakshmi Pranathi's marriage announcement day and on the day of their marriage), the TRP Ratings never looked encouraging. The channel management has failed to cash in on the popularity of NTR and also didn't come up with innovative programs to outshine other channels. Studio N's failure is surely a nightmare for NTR.
"We can't blame NTR for the present state of the channel. Right from the start, Studio N neither attracted the audience with it's content nor with the presentation. It started at zero, continued at zero and ended at zero," said a source close to the star.
"NTR feels anything he touches will turn into gold. Atleast now, he should stop dreaming and face the reality. Lokesh might have bailed Studio N out of troubles, if given chance," said an TDP supporter.
Going by the adage 'Failures Are The Stepping Stones For Success', let's hope NTR comes out of the failures and join the success streak soon!!!
Superstar Mahesh Babu's recent outing Businessman has been always in the news for good/bad reasons. But this time the makers of the film has run into some serious problems for violating the norms of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and Cinematograph Act (certification of films for exhibition).
Reportedly, the makers applied for the clearance of the title 'The Businessman' from CBFC, and the board has approved it. The Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce (APFCC) even cleared the registration of the film title as 'The Businessman' on January 1, 2011. But the word 'The' was intentionally avoided in the publicity posters, teasers and other marketing material of the film.
As per the sources, the makers had submitted a sample of publicity posters with full title to the CBFC for certification. The change in title is a case of misleading the officials for their personal benefits and will be treated as an offence. If found guilty, the makers will be punishable up to three years of imprisonment along with a hefty fine.
After claiming that Businessman broke all the existing records to become the biggest grosser in 81-year-old history of Tollywood, now the makers might break another record if they face the imprisonment for violating the norms. Mahesh has already done his job and now his producers (RR Movie Makers - Venkat, Achi Reddy) are gearing up for the battle. Records are meant to be broken, Right!!!
