Model turned actor Anushka Sharma who was launched by Bollywood biggies Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra is now all set to work with another big filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj. Apparently, Anushka has bagged a role in Vishal Bharadwaj`s upcoming flick ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’ along with actors Imran Khan, Shabana Azmi and Pankaj Kapur.
The 23-year-old actor asserted that her upcoming flick is supposed to be high on entertainment level and would be a dark comedy. Another most exciting reason which the leggie lass finds interesting about her upcoming movie is that she is for the first time paired up with actor Imran Khan. However, on top of it one fact she loves more about the film is that she would be working with Vishal Bharadwaj as she treats him as one of the finest filmmaker in B-town.
The ‘Band Bajaa Baraat’ star is sounding confident and optimistic about her upcoming film’s success as has engraved trust upon the ‘Kaminey’ filmmaker. The film would hit the theatres by year end.
KV Anand is working hard to make his fourth venture Maatran a bigger one. The film is said to be science fiction with pump action thrills and actions.

Power star Pawan Kalyan usually doesn’t attend functions of other heroes films. He hardly celebrates his film functions too. However, he obliges the requests of few of his friends and well wishers. Actor Nitin is a very big fan of Pawan Kalyan and he openly tells it.
Nitin has been running through tough times now and he has pinned lots of hopes on Ishq, his upcoming release. He invited his favorite hero to the audio launch of this movie and Pawan Kalyan obliged to it.

In the case of Pawan, though he has scored flops in the recent past, the openings have been huge for the first weekend. And if the film gets even a little better talk then it effortlessly gets into a superhit mode. According to certain statistics, few of Pawan’s films which scored flops showed only 30% difference between the collections on first day and last day of screening. And Pawan’s presence if extremely strong among the masses and youth audience, this is one area where Mahesh also finds it hard to compete.
But the fact remains that Pawan is yet to beat Mahesh. Now, it is heard that Pawan is thinking of teaming up with branded and ace directors of Tollywood instead of relying on Kollywood imports. If that happens then the percentage of Pawan scoring a success increases by nearly 40% right at the start. In today’s time, Pawan Kalyan is the only star who can beat Mahesh Babu and all he needs to do is join hands with the likes of a Vytla or Puri Jagan or Rajamouli. Let us wait to see what the future holds in store for both the stars.
Director Vetrimaran always remains unique with his style of filmmaking.
The director who recently grabbed the National Award for 'Aadukalam' starring Dhanush and Tapasee Panu in the lead roles has started working for his next project 'Vada Chennai'.
Vada Chennai is a gangster film starring Simbu in the lead role. The film will showcase Simbu as a middle class guy with the 90's look. Since the story revolves around the previous generation where gang fights are common.
Sources say that Simbu has bagged a solid role to perform and he will steal the show with Vada Chennai. Vetrimaran is toning the film in every aspects adds sources.
Vada Chennai has music by GV Prakash and the film is produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri under the banner Cloud Nine Movies.
According to trade sources the films that took positions for the last week with Nanban leading the track followed by Vettai, Mounaguru and Kollaikaran in the next positions.
Nanban starring Vijay, Jeeva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj, Sathyan, Ileana is a perfect family entertainer and remake of 2010 bollywood blockbuster '3 idiots'. The Tamil version is directed by Shankar the megamind with music by Harris Jeyaraj. The film had a unique star cast and that's the secret of success says trade analysts.
Vettai which got released one day next to Nanban also got a good opening because of the star cast like Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul. The film is directed by Lingusamy who is known for his action oriented masala films. The film is said to be doing good buisness next to Nanban. The film had music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and audience feels that the songs are the only letdown for this commercial entertainer.
Mounaguru directed by debutant Shantha Kumar is a movie which needs to be appreciated among all. The movie starring Arul Nidhi, Iniya in the lead roles was released without much promotions and low expectations. But the gripping storyline and narration pulled crowds to the theaters. Even let theater owners to increase the shows because of the public interest.
Finally it is Kollaikaran directed by Tamilselvan who is also a newcomer. The film had Viddharth of Mynaa fame and Sanchita Shetty in the lead roles. It is a usual storyline but filled with funny moments on the lines of superhit Kalavani. Kollaikaran had a decent opening but later faded out.

Reports say that Director Harish Shankar has designed the teaser with some powerful one-liners. Notably, he has given a title to the teaser to enthrall the fans, which is just like icing on the cake.
"Harish Shankar Gabbar Singh teaser thought cheppaadu Baaboyyyyyyy Pagilipoyindhi," told Ganesh Babu, confirming the reports.
