Bollywood hero Abhishek Bachchan Today revealed that during his earlier days in the Industry, he was slapped by a women for being part of a bad film and called that phase as the lowest time in his life."Once, I was slapped by a women when I had gone to a theatre to see how my film is faring. She said, "Stop. You're embarrassing your family and ruining your father's (Amitabh Bachchan) name". And it was not the slap that hurt me, but the words she has uttered. Although it wasn't a good feeling then, Thankfully, I'm able to laugh about it now," said Abhishek."I awoke my father in the mid-night and said to him that I have committed a mistake and no one wants to see me on screen. Then he said, "If people don't want you, filmmakers willn't be making films with you," he added.Referring to the above incident, Abhishek said an actor had to believe in himself to make it big in the Industry. There is an opinion in public about star kids that everything for them is a cakewalk. But the reality is that they should undergo a lot of pain to live-up to the expectations of fans of their family.
‘Band Bajaa Baraat’ debutant, Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma are highly promoting their movie, ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’ which hit the theatres yesterday. In their media interaction at a promotional event, Ranveer Singh revealed, “Anushka is the most generous and supportive co-star anybody would have. She has taught me so many things and the best part I like about her is that she never holds back with her criticisms and suggestions and I hope to do more films with her”. He also added that his second-time co-star is brutally honest to him.‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’ is Ranveer and Anushka’s second film together after ‘Band Bajaa Baraat’. The duo are very much excited for their latest film as except the cast members of the film, the entire team of the movie is similar to ‘Band Bajaa Baraat’.
Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor were recently spotted together while shooting a commercial ad for a brand that they endorse together. However when it came to interacting with media jointly the couple gave this opportunity a miss. They preferred to give media bytes individually and separately. It was then said that the broken relationship between them was the reason behind this separation and gap. But believe Priyanka to be at her diplomatic best and surprise the onlookers with her excuse.Priyanka claimed that the idea of giving individual interviews was that of the ad director who wasn’t willing to waste time. According to her he asked them to give individual media bytes so that the other star can shoot for the sequence while one interacted with media and vice versa. She claimed that there’s no bad blood between them and things were absolutely fine. She quoted, “Shahid and I get along fine and there are no issues between us”.
The shooting of Superstar Mahesh and crazy director Puri Jagannath’s upcoming flick ‘The Businessman’ has been wrapped up on December 10th. Speaking about the film, Puri said although Businessman is a big film the shooting has been completed in record time.“In just 74 days we have completed the talkie part of The Businessman with perfect planning. Mahesh Babu worked for 65 days and Kajal for 30 days. With complete support from artists and technicians we are able to wrap up the shooting of this big budgeted flick in record time,” said Puri Jagannath.The director is all praise for Mahesh who has done complete justice to the role of protogonist. “After Pokiri, both Me and Mahesh have teamed up again for this film and there are huge expectations on the project. I’m sure, this film will live-up to the expectations. Mahesh’s character name in the film is Surya. This film will show heroism at peaks and Mahesh has done an excellent job. Songs shot on Mahesh and Kajal has come out really well,” revealed the director. Puri also confirmed that the film would be released on the same date which he announced before. “We are getting tremendous response for the two teasers which are already out. Thaman has given wonderful tunes to this film. The audio will be released on December 22nd in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam simultaneously. It is a common funda that whenever a big hero film arrives, the rest of the films tend to stop their release as they don't want to get swept away.
