Prabhas-Koratala Shiva film is Vaaradhi?

The producers of Koratala Siva’s film with Prabhas as the hero have reportedly registered the title of Vaaradhi. The movie is being produced on UV Creations banner and the movie’s shooting is currently going on. Anushka and Richa Gangopadhyay are the heroines in this project.

The movie is an action entertainer, say sources. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the tunes for this film and the film will get ready for release next year. This is Koratala Siva’s first project as a director. He has worked as a dialogue writer for a number of successful Telugu movies in the past.

Allari Naresh’s ‘Sangharshana’

A Tamil film titled Porali starring Sasikumar and Allari Naresh in lead roles is being dubbed in Telugu. The film’s Telugu title has been confirmed as Sangarshana. Samuthirakani, who had directed Shambo Shiva Shambo, is directing this film which is touted to be an action thriller. Colours Swathi and Vasundhara are playing lead roles in this film. Most part of Porali was shot in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

K L Damodhar Prasad and Vedaraju Timber are jointly producing the Telugu version. Kathir is the cinematographer and Sundar C Babu has composed the music. The film’s Tamil version is releasing later this month and the Telugu version is also expected to release soon

Allu Arjun – Ileana film disrupted

Shooting of Allu Arjun’s upcoming film in the direction of Trivikram Srinivas was disrupted by Telangana Activists today. The shooting location was filled with protesters who shouted Telangana slogans and the shoot had to be stopped. A few scenes were being canned on Brahmanandam and Ileana at the time. Brahmanandam was mobbed and he was forced to shout slogans in support of Telangana.

However, Police forces stepped in and arrested the agitating members.Shooting resumed after a brief gap and security forced were on hand to provide protection for the members. The shooting was taking place at a private hospital in Kukatpally Housing Board colony.

Allu Arjun was not on location at that time.

Business Man will beat Pokiri Records: PURI

Ace Director Puri Jagannath says that his upcoming  film Business Man, starring Mahesh Babu and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles, will rewrite Tollywood box office records by overtaking the gross collection of his earlier blockbuster Pokiri.

The film is being produced by Ram Gopal Varma and Venkat of RR Movie Makers. It has music by SS Thaman.

The star cast of the film includes Prakash Raj, Sayaji Shinde, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, Raza Murad, Shweta Bhardwaj, Brahmaji, Jahangir Khan, Bharath Reddy and others.

Business Man is confirmed to release on January 11, 2012.

 

Bejawada sold for Whooping in Sandalwood

Naga Chaitanya’s forthcoming movie Bejawada is going to release on November 23rd. The film is directed by the debutant, Vivek Krishna. ‘Bejawada’ is based on the gang wars. Amala Paul is playing the female lead role in the film. Music composed by Amar Mohile and cinematography by S Ka Bhupathi. Ram Gopal Varma and  Kiran Kumar Koneru are jointly producing the film. Latest news is that Venkatadri films, Bangalore have bagged the film distribution and exhibition rights of Sandalwood at the handsome price of Rs80lakhs.

Naga Chaithanya is currently working for Autonagar Surya in the direction of Deva Katta. Samantha is romancing Chaithu in this action oriented film. Achi Reddy is producing the film on R.R.Movie makers Banner.

 

Sri Rama Rajyam all set for a massive release

The most eagerly awaited devotional offering of Nandamuri Balakrishna is Bapu’s magnum opus ,Sri Rama Rajyam. The movie is all set to release across the world on November 17th in a grand way. The movie’s posters and pictures have created quite a buzz in the public and there has been a terrific response to Balayya’s Lord Rama look. Many elderly people who have watched the pictures are of the opinion that the Legendary NTR’s look is clearly apparent in Balayya’s getup.

The movie has been made on very high technical values and top technicians have worked on the CGI and special effects part. Ilayaraja’s music has become an instant chart buster and there has been a tremendous response to the audio album.

Nayanatara is going to be seen as Sita. Akkineni Nageswara Rao garu will be seen as Valmiki. Srikanth is portraying the role of Lakshmana. Sri Rama Rajyam has been directed by legendary director Bapu. The movie is set in the Lava Kusha episode of the Ramayana

Balayya predicts return of movie mythologic​als

Participating in a radio talk show, Sri Rama Rajyam hero Nandamuri Balakrishna predicted that the time is now ripe for Tollywood production houses to resume making mythologicals. He revealed that two years ago he had started work on Narthanasala but had to shelve it midway due to date issues. The actor said that he was pleasantly surprised when two leading producers came forward to resume work on and complete the movie.

He said among the mythologicals his father had acted in, “Sri Krishna Pandaveeyam” and Seetharama Kalyanam were subjects that are very close to his heart. Regarding Sri Rama Rajyam Balayya said that only Bapu could visualise such extravagant beauty in every frame on a screen. The movie is slated for a November 17 release.

He also had special words of praise for Ilayaraja’s melodious background score and said that it matched with the mood of the film.

Ileana’s Tollywood cupboard is bare

Except for a film with Allu Arjun, the Goan beauty has definitely slowed down in the South.To begin with (unlike many Tollywood imports) Ileana never showed much inclination for Kollywood either. After a slow start in Tollywood with relative newcomers she hit her stride with the blockbuster hit Pokiri. From then on she has acted opposite almost every premier hero in Tollywood.

A chance meeting with Kajol  resulted in her developing a stunning profile with ace photographer Gautam Rajadyaksha. She then made a few rounds meeting heads of premier production houses. But her big Bollywood break came from Akshay Kumar.

The action hero has signed her for Khiladi 786 and also has assured her of heroine roles in two of his home productions. With three assured movies in her kitty, Illeana has all but shifted her base to Mumbai.

Ramanaidu to produce a Chiranjeevi’s film?

D Ramanaidu has evinced his interest to produce a film which will have Chiranjeevi in lead role. In the past he had produced a Chiranjeevi’s film titled Sangarshana and it did very well at box office. Ramanaidu revealed that he had recently spoken to Chiranjeevi and the actor responded in a positive manner.

“We are searching for the right script. Moreover, we are planning to donate the money we make from this project for social service initiatives,” Ramanaidu said at an audio launch in Hyderabad. After Puri Jagannadh and RGV, Ramanaidu is third such film personality who has evinced his interest to work with Chiranjeevi.
