The fans of mahesh babu will have a lot to cheer in the year 2012. He will have not one or two but here films released in one year! The first film is The Businessman followed by Sitamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. The third film will be a soft romantic entertainer in the direction of Sukumar. News is that mahesh babu will play the role of a lecturer in the movie. Tamanna has been chosen as the heroine opposite Prince in the film. Three films in a year is a big, big record and it is one which even the prince himself may find hard to beat!
Mahesh Babu Created New Record
It is known news that prince Mahesh Babu is teaming up with director Puri Jagannadh for his new movie ‘The Businessman’. This crazy combination that came up with ‘Pokiri’ has now generated a strong craze for their new venture.
Now, it is heard that the overseas rights of ‘The Businessman’ has gone for a record price. It is heard that this has been given away for around Rs 5 crores. Mahesh’s last venture ‘Dookudu’ grossed around $ 2.3 million in the overseas market.
This is being distributed by R R Movie Makers and it is heard that they are not selling it in Andhra Pradesh but got a good deal in overseas market. If the overseas price is true then ‘The Businessman’ has done fantastic business in overseas market and created a new benchmark.
SA Blessings For MJM @ Mahesh Babu
The hottest and most talked about subject in the Tollywood circles is Mahesh Babu and his films. Already, ‘The Businessman’ has sparked off a major curiosity and expectation. As if that is not enough, Mahesh’s other venture ‘Seetamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ has added fuel to the fire.
Speaking about ‘Seetamma…’ another interesting topic is making rounds. This is about the comeback of music director Mickey J Meyer. The cine folks say that director Srikanth Addala’s blessings are there for Mickey J Meyer as the latter is roped in to compose the tunes for ‘Seetamma Vaakitlo…’.
Some are saying that this is due to the ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ effect and will prove a golden opportunity for Mickey to bounce back. On the other hand, there is also a talk that even Mahesh Babu personally liked songs of ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ and gave green signal for Mickey. Let us see how Mickey utilizes these blessings.
Prabhas Stuck between A & R
The mere mention of the name Prabhas makes girls go pink in their cheeks and weak in their knees. That's the effect of this young rebel star. While he has been busy with the shaping up of his new movie 'Rebel', here is another interesting update about Prabhas.
It is known that Prabhas is doing another film which marks the debut of writer Koratala Siva as the director. Unit members reveal the leading ladies of the film are none other than Anushka and Richa Gangopadhyay. Sources say Prabhas would be sandwiched between both beauties in the film.
The regular shooting is expected to commence soon and with the combo of Anushka and Richa squeezing Prabhas, one can expect fireworks on the screen. The music for this film will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Further details will be revealed soon.

Lucky NTR misses Shruti Haasan
Junior NTR fans should be happy now after knowing the result of 7th Sense. But why? Shruti Haasan recently walked out of NTR's Dammu movie due to call sheet issues and she has been replaced by Trisha, who hasn't done a single film opposite NTR to date.
Shruti Haasan despite being extremely busy hasn't scored a single hit until now. All her films ended up as flops and 7th Sense is also sailing in the same boat. Shruti scores on the glamour front and the fact that she is a daughter of Kamal Haasan adds value to any film. However, luck factor does play a big role in any actress's life to go that extra mile.
Sadly, luck is not in Shruti's favor and she is in a string of flops. If Oh My Friend lives up to the expectations and fetches the first hit for her, then NTR fans might feel that Dammu missed a good chance.
Venky Bodyguard @ A Blockbuster!
Music Director Thaman is on a high after the success of his recent release 'Dookudu', and looking at the developments he is likely to score another huge success at the Box Office very soon. The film we are talking about is Venkatesh's 'Bodyguard. Thaman is in all praise for the outcome of the film.
"Watched 'Bodyguard' today it's fantastic and very positive. It's defenitely will be a super success in all classes and thanks to Gopichand Malineni for giving me lot of scope for Re-recording," said Thaman.
"Watched 'Bodyguard' again the chemistry between Venkatesh Gaaru & Trisha is rocking guys surely a winner again job well done :) It will be super success, great performance trisha soopperb jus Luvvd it ! :)," he added.
We are aware that the film is a remake of Malayalam hit and it has already proved success in three Industries(Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi). Now, looking at the gut feeling Thaman have on 'Bodyguard', we can believe that a blockbuster is written all over it!!!
