Colors Papa's Wrong Steps In Career

The cinema industry is one place where you tend to find deserving talents but lacking success. Usually, it is the steps they take in their career which results in such things. Right now, a hot discussion is happening on one such person and she is none other than Colors Swathi. A senior producer who was part of the discussion revealed “Swathi is a very talented person. She was great as an anchor, had good timing with her lines and a witty sense of humour. For some reason, she has become an actress. As such she is not a heroine material in long run as she is not desired by every director.”

He added “The best path for Swathi is, she can do anchoring for TV shows and get into significant roles in movies like the ones she did in ‘Aadavari Maatalaku Ardhaalu Verule’. But she can’t take full time career into cinema by ignoring TV. I don’t understand why she has to become laughing stock like this. God has given her few chances.” Another director stated “No heroine can entertain masses with natural dialogues like Swathi on the small screen or during events. Instead of that, she is doing something else. She can take inspiration from Jhansi who has got a big image and has dual presence in TV and cinema. She also got Nandi award with her right moves.” Wonder what Swathi has to say to this now.

'Businessman' wants Kajal!!

By this we are not talking about the film ‘The Businessman’. This is about a rather unusual experience that Kajal Agarwal had recently. Apparently, the pretty girl has been riding high with the success of her Bollywood venture ‘Singham’ and sources say she was approached by a businessman wanting to produce a film with her. After several rounds of requests and calls, the businessman finally got to meet Kajal and he gave the narration of a story. It is heard that Kajal turned it down and wanted something different. At this, the businessman reportedly insisted on Kajal taking an advance with an assurance that he would come back with a better script.

Due to his persuasion, Kajal reportedly took the advance cheque of Rs 3 lakhs. However, the man went missing for 3-4 days and when Kajal’s manager called him, the answer took them aback. This businessman revealed he was actually an ardent fan of Kajal and since he didn’t know any other way of meeting her, he took this route. As for the cheque, Kajal has not encashed it but she was heard saying that the total experience had amused her though it was a bit unnerving. She also revealed how the man was showering praises on her when they met which flattered her to an extent.

Is Charmee Promoting Devi to Bollywood

Though he has not done anything to promote her in Tollywood or Kollywood, it is heard that Charmee is doing everything possible to promote her ‘dear’ friend Devi Sri Prasad in Bollywood. After making her debut with ‘Bbuddah..’ in Bollywood, Charmee is currently camping in Mumbai trying for a second offer in her own style.

Meanwhile, it is known that the song ‘Ringa Ringa..’ was used in the Bollywood blockbuster ‘Ready’ starring Salman Khan- Asin. Taking this as the cue, it is heard that Charmee is trying for a chance to herself and simultaneously promoting Devi Sri. News is that by getting him a break in Bollywood, Charmee is hoping that she can get Devi Sri back to her side and maybe get the knot tied since he has been distancing himself from her lately.

Prabhas all set to Rock in Rebel

Actor Prabhas is doing a lots of homework for his yet-to-be-launched film, Rebel.  The film will be his next release and it is probably for the first time that the actor is giving a gap of nearly 8 months between two films (Mr. Perfect was released in June).  The actor is confident that Rebel is a kind of film which will work wonders for him, sources say.  The handsome hunk is pairing up with Anushka Shetty.  Deeksha Seth is another girl who will be seen playing the second heroine.
After Kanchana, Lawrence Raghava is directing Rebel with renewed vigour.  It may be said that after so many offbeat films in all these years, Lawrence will be seen doing a really big-ticket commercial entertainer with a top class actor like Prabhas in the lead.  The film's subject is rumouredly very hatke in nature too.  Krishnam Raju will be seen in a significant character role in the film. Though some versions of the film's story did the rounds recently, it is said that they are concocted and have got nothing to do with Rebel.

Suhasini as Pawan Kalyan’s mother!

Power star Pawan Kalyan’s new project titled "Gabbar Singh" is going to hit the floors soon after completion of Pawan’s current project tentatively titled Kaali. Now the latest news is that Yester year heroine and actress Suhasini Maniratnam has been roped to play the mother role to Pawan Kalyan in “Gabbar Singh”. Presently the movie pre production works are going on. Gabbar Singh is a remake of Bollywood’s super hit film Dabangg. In Hindi version Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha played the lead roles. In Telugu version gorgeous beauty Sruthi Hassan has been roped for the female lead role opposite to Power star.

Gabbar Singh will be directed by Harish Shankar, as per the sources director Harish Shankar has changed the original script to suit the Telugu nativity. The film will be produced by actor turned producer Ganesh Babu on Parameshwara Arts Banner. Devisri Prasad will score the music. Gabbar Singh is expected to hit the screens for Sankarnthi festival in 2012.

Anushka with Arya under Selva Raghavan direction!

Buxom beauty Anushka is going to act in another female centric film under the direction of Selva Raghavan. This film is a bilingual film, will be made in both Tamil and Telugu languages. Arya will play the male lead in the film. Arya is also well known to Tollywood audience with the films Varudu (he played negative role) and recently released Vaadu Veedu (he played one of the hero in the film). Director Selva Raghavan was roped to direct the Kamal Hassan’s new project Viswaroopam, later he stepped out of the project. He also planned a Telugu film with Allu Arjun, but that project also kept aside. But after watching Anushka’s performance in Arundhati he planned to direct a heroine-oriented movie immediately with her, but that was not materialized. Now he has finally come up with a new script, which has more importance for a female lead role than male lead. Recently Anushka has also signed another lady oriented film titled "Rampa Chodavaram" under the direction of Chaitanya Dantuluri.

Bejawada Rowdeelu in High Court!

Naga Chaitanya’s new film titled "Bezawada Rowdeelu" shooting schedule was started recently in Vijayawada. The film has landed into controversies due to its title from the starting day of the movie and the city of Vijayawada people are opposing the movie title and they asked producer Ramgoapl Varma to change the movie title. But RGV is refusing to change the title. ’Bejawada Rowdilu’ is said to be based on the gang wars that happened in Vijayawada almost two decades ago. As per the people in Vijayawada the title of the film will gives the bad remark to the city and it would also raises fresh wars again.

Now the latest news is that Gowtham Reddy, an advocate filed a petition in the High Court seeking the court to intervene in the issue and make the filmmaker to change the title of the movie from Bezawada Rowdeelu .The court has asked the censor board’s legal counsel to go through on this the matter and submit its report to the court within a week. Now we have to wait and to see the court’s decision on this movie title. Bejawada Rowdeelu is being directed by a debutant, Vivek Krishna, who also an associate of RGV. Ram Gopal Varma and Kiran Kumar Koneru are jointly producing the film on Shreya Productions banner. Vanditha Koneru is presenting it.

Bollywood offer for Allu Arjun!

Now the latest buzz in the film nagar is that Stylish star Allu Arjun is soon going to debut in Bollywood with a romantic entertainer film under the leading production house. Presently Allu Arjun is busy in Tollywood with handful of projects, even though he is keen to work in a Bollywood film. The rumors doing the rounds Allu Arjun has got the offer from prestigious Yash Raj Films banner to play a lead role in their upcoming Bollywood film. As per the sources the bosses of Yash Raj Films has also invited Allu Arjun for talks related to that film and the actor is going to meet them soon.

Allu Arjun is popular in South Indian film industry and now getting the offer in Bollywood that too with an YRF project will be a big offer for Arjun and we are not surprised to hear he is keen to do it. But few sources say that he already refused that offer due to his commitments in Tollywood. Any way we have to wait for the official confirmation from the actor regarding this offer.

Allu Arjun- Trivikram’s film starts from Sep 7th

After Badrinath, Stylish star Allu Arjun’s new project under the direction of writer turned director Trivikram Srinivas is finally going on to sets from September 7th onwards. This date has been fixed by the film makers after had discussion with the Allu Arjun, who is back in Hyderabad now from his personal tour.

We heard earlier that Samantha and Ileana names are under consideration for the female lead role opposite to Allu Arjun in the film. Now it seems that Ileana has confirmed as heroine for the film. As per the reports Ileana will also join the shoot on September 7th.The movie will be produced by D.V.V.Danaiah on Universal Media Banner. Music director Devisri Prasad will score the music for this flick. Earlier we also heard that title of the film will be Honey, but now movie makers are saying that title of the film is not yet fixed. More details of the cast and crew of this project will be announced soon!!
